The title of this illustration is: 'The young and dumb.' Let also written on this page, some verses of the Holy Bible for reading and meditation. God bless you. The peace of God! Compliance with the law and the prophets
Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, in no wise pass from the law one i or one tittle until everything is accomplished.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, no matter how small, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
You have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be subject to judgment.
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be subject to judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be guilty before the Sanhedrin; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
leave there before the altar your offer, and will reconcile yourself first with your brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Agree up quickly with your accuser while you are on the way with him; lest the adversary deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Verily I say to you in any way go forth from there until you have paid the last farthing.
You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery.
But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery in his heart to her.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee; It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee; It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
was also said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement.
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except it be for fornication, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Again, ye have heard that it was said: shall not swear falsely, but shall perform unto the Lord thine oaths.
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven, for it is God's throne;
or by the earth, for it is his footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King;
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
Be, however, your speech: Yes, yes; no, no; because what happens there comes from evil.
You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and tooth for tooth.
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also;
and you want to sue you and take away thy coat, let him have your cloak also;
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
Give to him who asks you, and do not turn back to what you want to borrow.
You have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? They do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye too? not even the Gentiles the same?
Be ye therefore perfect, as your heavenly Father perfect.
    (Matthew 5: 17-48).
