Honestly, they gave more positive impressions than I expected for a lot of these, a fair spread of opinions as well with what they liked. Not surprised the PdM did the best overall.
The scarface girl is just hilarious. They are ordinary people that we meet every day unlike fragheads like a bunch of subscribers to this or other fragrance channels. Their opinions are totally unbiased towards the brands and that’s what I like a about them.
Right! I’m just starting to get into fragrance and I go try to smell fragrances that have been hyped up by “fragheads” and I usually hate them 🤣 I’m just not sophisticated enough yet I guess

Not surprised by this, to the average person who isn’t into the love of fragrances niche will often be too much for them. There’s a reason the most popular fragrances are also the most boring and safe smells. The average person won’t understand niche
This is exactly how I feel💀Niche that isn’t weird asf and high quality designer like Dior and Chanel is where it’s at. Get me a high quality scent that smells bomb, that’s it.
This helped me a lot! I have Percival, and my wife lives it. But she is VERY sensitive to colognes and perfumes, most give her headaches so it it's tricky.
It would be nice if you introduced people fully wearing each fragrance to everyone so they could see how the fragrances smell on skin instead of only on paper.
I assumed they would babe cried rivers about Interlude Bakck Iris.. But that was a pleasant surprise. Actually a surprising the last guy didn’t like it… Or at least appreciate it. On the whole… pretty solid responses.
Nasomatos’ seem very intriguing. I want to find some department stores where I can go smell them. It’s amazing how one person says “something my grandma would wear”and the other person says “strip club”. That’s hilarious.
Yeah, it's a very cool brand, very unique. But sometimes a bit too much. Fantomas literally smells like melony plastic (I saw it with a 40% discount in my local store, nobody wanted it I guess, lol). But Baraonda, Duro, Narcotic V are amazing.

I'm really surprised that most of them didn't hate Amouage Interlude Black Iris. I absolutely despised it and just thought everyone would react similarly. Man was I wrong. I think it is seriously pungent, and I can't get the smell out of my nose for days.
Not sure I’ve smelt the. Lack iris version but interlude itself has got to be the worst fragrance I have ever smelled. I could smell it for days and it just smells of thick smoke.

I love PdM, and def recognize that many of their 'niche' frags resemble others. This group of youngsters picked the PdM frag most closely related to A&F Fierce. Happily surprised that several liked AND appreciated Black Iris.....they would have freaked out with the OG Interlude Man. As they get older I think some of them may be more open Nasomatto.

@@GrowingDownUnder It's absolutely good business to dupe naive consumers into buying something for $400 that costs $4 to make. 😄 People pay for the perception of luxury and exclusivity, not the product; and the exploitation of ignorance has been a hallmark of human behaviour for thousands of years. The choice is therefore either to become informed, or remain exploited - with the bulk of profits in the luxuries industry coming from the latter (although both can still be manipulated). That may change as people become more connected and aware, but it'll take time. in the meantime, let's give people something familiar and make $$$$!!! 😂

Just like nobody is going to buy creed aventus in this day and age with hundreds of cheaper clones of it around everywhere. There's hundreds of percival clones too which make it completely redundant to buy and own. I see a lot of influencers pushing it but the fact is it's redundant to buy with better and cheaper alternatives. I wouldn't say beckam respect is better, because it's not better but it is cheaper. Abercrombie fierce is better and cheaper though and last way longer

when there are designer fragrances there is usually a more obvious winner but here not so much. I think it says that niche is usually better quality but just about taste
And the best niche fragrance is the one that smells pretty much like..... Axe Apollo. And I am not even surprised at all, people actually really like how many Axe products smell, as long as they don't know what it is.

Some niche fragrances I recommend: Cooler weather- Kilian’s Angel’s Share, made with real cognac. A sophisticated version of Replica Jazz Club Parfum de Marley’s Herod, nice incense Signature Scents, easy reach- CELINE’s Black Tie- powdery vanilla LeLabo’s Another13 or Santal 33, after the dry down. Freshness with character. And for the Hotter weather- Creed’s Millesime Imperial, the original and badly copied Jo Malone’s Wood, Sage, and Sea Salt
It hurt to see Chris refer to my personal favorite (Interlude Black Iris) as straight garbage. However, it is a reminder of exactly how subjective fragrance is and why we should be mindful of our company and environment when choosing what to wear and how much we apply.
Lot more useful if the fragrance name was on the screen while they are discussing it. Hard to keep track and don't like having keep note pad at hand while watching a video
