Ozzy Osbourne doesn't necessarily have the greatest musical voice, but the sound of his voice makes you pay attention. Serj Tankian is that person even when he's doing that rapid the rapid uh bars he'll spit or if he does musical beautiful sounding uh melodic tones the sound of his voice is unmistakable. You can almost if you hear his voice you immediately think System of a Down or at least him now because it's The Cost these are three world class musicians two of them come from a functional Jazz Progressive Funk genre style the bass and the guitarist of the band ... Then you take El Estepario Siberiano
So literally what we have done is we have, even though System of a Down is no longer together, you can literally do everything that you love from that, funky off, out of the box style of System of a Down rhythmically and creatively and then you also have Serj and then here's my favorite part the lead singer of The Cost has this gorgeous low in resonant just Soulful voice so if you have Serj getting your attention someone is also speaking to your heart.
