Supah BIlly! "A truck that's always dirty is a piece of crap" what? Some of you guys don't make sense. Just because its dirty doesn't mean its junk. You sound like a you own a car.
Neph Sorry your right i shouldve said a truck that is always dirty looks like crap just my opinion but i think keeping a vehicle clean and taking care of it will make it last a lot longer Trucks are the only vehicles i have owned btw
maison m because you can wash it off your driveway and not spend $12 at the car wash. Most car washes don't want you to wash something that is fairly muddy.
I'm almost 50 yrs. old and still occasionally like to play in the mud. It just keeps getting harder to find places now, where you wont get fined or truck impounded. Back in the late 80's, when I was 20 yrs. old, I had an'80 Ramcharger SE, fully loaded. I regret selling it. Me and some buddies went out to play. It was completely covered in mud. Couldn't see out the windows, and the windshield still had clumps of mud, and mud smears. Got back into Red Deer, went to do a lane change. Turned on the signal light and slowly started creeping over. Heard a couple of horn blasts. Then a siren. RCMP lady was fantastic. Wrote me up a warning, and gave me 4 hrs. to clean the Ramcharger, and show up at the detachment. Went to the AM-PM car wash, I miss those pull in and get a ticket, wash your truck, and you paid for the amount of time you were there. Attendant was cursing. He brought over a wheel barrel and shovel. Told me if I cleaned up the bay after, my car wash was free. It was a win, win for me.
MrBossilini I do agree Toyota of old were tanks. But in the last 10-12 years not so much. Toyota of new has by far the weakest frames of any auto maker. They bend quite easily in fact. In fact other than auto tests reports showing this, there is a video somewhere I saw on UA-cam where a guy took his 2008-09 ish very clean, nice looking Toyota in for new tires. The tire place put it up on a lift and the frame bent completely in half where the bed meets the cab.
I'm 72 so I hope you think I'm old enough to give you some advice. When I saw the title of the video and before I watched it, I was thinking, There IS a reason to take a truck "mudding ". (Sorry, I don't know how many ds in mudding.) My wife an I tried to avoid driving on public roads on public land when the roads were wet or rain was forecast. We didn't want to unnecessarily create ruts. Which is to say that we tried to treat such roads the way we would treat our friends' roads on private land. There were times, however, when we went on three-day camping trips and got caught in rain that hadn't been forecast (In the '80s and '90s, forecasts weren't as accurate as they are now.) In such cases, it is advisable to have a good idea of the limits of your vehicle, your tires and your own skill. If you want to determine what those capabilities are--or if you want to improve your driving skills--you might want to go mudding on your own property or, with his permission, on land owned by one of your friends who shares your interest in back-country exploring. Then I watched the video. First "mistake": going by yourself. If you had got stuck, how far would you have had to walk? You seem to have had no idea of whether you could actually do what you were attempting. A word to the wise: There are places (most of Iowa, for example) where, if it rains for a week, even a 4WD TRACTOR can get buried. (In which case, the farmer has to wait until there is dry weather long enough to bring in heavy equipment to extract the tractor.) Many car wash owners post signs to the effect that if you wash a "muddy" vehicle in their facilities, you will be responsible for the expense of cleaning, not only the floor but the drains. Even if no such signs are posted, it is still inappropriate to use someone else's facilities to do what you aren't willing to do on your own property. In some jurisdictions, you would be subject to fines (in addition to he cost of cleaning the facility) for using a car wash for other purposes than those intended by the owner
Thanks for he advice but here is why I probably won't shut up. There are people who think that any unpaved road on public land (i.e. managed by a government agency such as he BLM or the Forrest Service) should be closed to the public. Failure to follow the advice I offered is one of the reasons such people have already been successful in closing many such roads. If you would like to keep public roads on public land open to he public so you can take your children or grandchildren in the future to the kinds of places you like to go now, it would be better to not give those people excuses to close the roads.
Thanks for he advice but here is why I probably won't shut up. There are people who think that any unpaved road on public land (i.e. managed by a government agency such as he BLM or the Forrest Service) should be closed to the public. Failure of 4WD owners to follow the advice I offered is one of the reasons many such roads have already been closed. 40 isn't too low if you're not hauling any weight, I run whatever the door tag says unless I'm towing without problem. Pressure Washers are the thing if you can drop the cash for one, I got one given to me that was nice, gas cap was screwing it up. it's such a useful thing
Loved everything about this video! The camera angles, the editing, the fun, the truck, the mudding, the music... Great job!!! I rarely like videos only when i really like them and this one i liked!
I once took my '98 neon (with no modifications to it) offroading for a day, in the bush, and never got it stuck. So don't knock a four banger just because it's front wheel drive. Sometimes that's all you need to use to get out of a wet area.
You do the same thing many of us do.....If it is already a little dirty & I'm here in the mud, Well I MUST burry it in as much mud as possible & have some fun before leaving. GRET VID, THANKS.
yeah, I have taken my parents honda pilot and have gotten stuck every time and have dented the bumpers, I have decided to invest in a old piece of shit truck just to beat the shit out of it. believe it or not, most standard trucks like yours have about the same clearance of the pilot.
im all about mudding and diesels and free stuff but load E tires are what you need on 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks. they need 80psi of air. 50psi tires are for 1/2 ton trucks or suvs. I've seen a shop refuse to install them because of liability concerns
first off you want to lower your tire pressure when you are off road. your tires are capable of carrying a much higher load than what your truck weighs therefor you can run a much lower pressure second you need to get offroad more, what you went through was nothing, kid stuff
Dalton, your channel has become by far my favorite. Keep up the amazing content!

My Lord this is embarrassing for all Chevy owners lol. This was scared of mud, scares to get his driveway dirty, and has clearly never been to a car wash. Did he just walk out from under a rock or something?!
USE PRE SOAP OR PRE SOAK BEFORE YOU SPRAY IT DOWN, IT WILL MAKE YOUR TRUCK SO CLEAN AND THEN SPRAY IT DOWN WITH WATER OR THE WATER SOAP MIX AND IT WILL LOOK HELLA GOOD
so let me understand this,you have a truck.....its a Chevy....its 4 wheel drive....and its a duramax,and this is the first time that u went muddin? ?????? its official ur a WOMAN!!!.....LOL
They were never designed for mudding, they are made to tow and haul heavy shit lol. Diesels are too damn heavy for mudding anyway. You want something lighter like a K5 Blazer of Bronco. But he definitely needs to exercise his 4WD system more often, for the sake of keeping oil circulated in the front differential.
Dalton: The editing skills are SWEEEETTTT. Nice work brother, you continue to get better and better each day. Shout out to GuitarmageddonZL1. His channel is a lot like yours. He's got an AMAZING camaro that is beyond beast, really. Similar styles and crispy clean edits. Love it man! Thank you.
Best thing you can do when washing a truck or ATV covered in mud is rinse the whole vehicle first. If that mud is dry and caked on thick you will waste a lot of time on it. But if you go around it once just to soak the whole thing, by the time you come back to your starting point, that mud will be ready to come off. So it saves you time and money at the pressure washer.
ThunderHead289 You must not know anything about HD trucks. Well they are designed to tow/haul larger loads than half tons, which require E-rated tires. E-rated tires need more psi so they stay round with heavy loads. To me even 50psi seems low. My low tire sensors will go off at anything below 60psi. I run them at 72 which is the manufacturers recommended ratings. I drive an 09 Chevy 2500hd.
If you add a 1 x 6 treated to the inside of your garage door and scribe the bottom of the board to the largest gap then cut it with a jigsaw you can lower it to the floor and permanently attach it to the door with foam attached to the edge. This will seal the gap without messing with the concrete.
hkbbs dirt bikes are what made his channel so popular I highly doubt he will stop making riding videos it's like 40 degrees here it's a little chilly to ride calm down
hkbbs Dirt bikes in the winter huh? He lives in a place where they get winter weather so I dont expect him to ride until March 2017. There's plenty of dirt bike channels and motovloggers though.
Yo I zip the bottle of car wash or preferred soap to the power washer and drill a hole the size of the hose in the cap and leave it ... Run hose to soap a s the power washer dilutes it for you ... I use tide on carpets it works wonders ...... Brush if you need to !!! Just thought I would tell you .. She looks good also the armor all with the polymer technology yellow car wash is almost the best you can buy defiantly bang for buck !!!
If your weather is like here in PA then the last time you inflated your tires it was probably 70 degrees and now it is in the 40's. I noticed all my car tires were about 5 pounds low due to the drastic temperature change.
If I was that hunter I would have been pissed, you totally just fucked his chances of getting anything. Street queeen/blacktop princess lol what a waste of a truck
Dalton, The best tires for 70% road and amazing grip off road are the INTERCO SS-M16 tires. You will get 40 to 50 thousand miles out of them and they will grip anything. Check them out. We can spend 40 dollars at the car wash just to clean the mud off our 4X4 down in Louisiana!!!
When I saw him put a couple dollars in for change I was laughing my ass off. You need a couple of 10s. Yes sir, he definitely hasn't done much off-roading
I went mudding once. Been there done that. The wear and tear on my daily driver wasn't worth it. I like seeing others do it. I get to watch and then walk away.
and to think ....you tube recommended that for me. Ok, so you went through a little bit of mud with your truck....that is what trucks with 4wd are for!!
thought the same thing, read the title again, he's saying he was dumb for mudding his truck. it's just bad english is all, but he was saying that yes he was dumb for doing it
Purposely drive it in the rain to remove what you couldn't. Be careful not to remove the frame coating with the pressure washer or where you live rust will come quick.
Same here man, it's been a long time since I've actually gotten angry at a video, and that video irritated me something fierce. Put it in the title and then the whole video was Meh and then to not even get an exploding car which was the only reason why I clicked it. Then him knowing it was going to get a lot of dislikes so he then promises to post the content he promised in the shitty videos title, if it gets a ton of likes... that irritated me even more
And the point of that absolutely irrelevant message was? I've been a long time subscriber as well, and don't plan on unsubbing, as long as he doesn't plan on writing click bait shitty videos
I remember taking my 2wd 95 f150 on winter tires through that kinda mud last spring, although it was probably close to 10-12 miles of it. I did get stuck about 2 miles from the cabin I was going to though. sure made me miss 4x4. summer 2015 I spent $83 washing my truck after going mudding
+3DMachines...where in ny are you located. ? I only ask because if you travel a lot of state maintained roads in the winter...the brine souloution we use will literally eat that truck if there's mud for it to soak into. Hell, a once or twice a week wash should be mandatory once we have salt on the roads.
Dalton, ur inspiring me to do mechanics on my project fourwheeler. Im skinny myself and i hate it, when i see you i dont feel bad. I know i can live like it without being harmed
Next time you go to clean your truck use simple green to break down all of the crap and it will be easier to clean off your plastics as well as the bay of your engine
Man.... I go muddling and leave the dirt on.... It's a badge of honor!
Beer 30 have fun re painting your truck
Beer 30 amen brother
YOUR ROCKERS AND BED SIDES ARE GOING TO ROT, MOISTURE GETS TRAPPED IN THE MUD!
Who fucking cares dude I have a truck I'm yet to wash
Nick Adams I live in the desert. We're not really concerned about rust

Bobby James you a bitch
That's what I was thinking lmao, hardly mudding at all
Bobby James whats that profile picture?
+Hithathighguy 😂😂😂
Ryan Dawson Train? maybe you should check your spelling before trying to insult somebody for being dumb.
That little bit of mud ain't going to ruin anything stop whinning
Every good truck should get dirty....so long as you clean it off afterwards.
Soooo true a truck that doesnt get dirty is a car
But a truck that it always dirty is a piece of crap
Supah BIlly! "A truck that's always dirty is a piece of crap" what? Some of you guys don't make sense. Just because its dirty doesn't mean its junk. You sound like a you own a car.

just my opinion but i think keeping a vehicle clean and taking care of it will make it last a lot longer

Supah BIlly!
What's the point of mudding if your gonna clean it off? I leave my truck covered in mud till it rains then I go again to get it covered in mud
you own a pressure washer and went to a car wash. let that sink in.
phatrides222000 why would u want to have all that mud sitting in your driveway when you could go to a car wash and wash it down the drain...
maison m because you can wash it off your driveway and not spend $12 at the car wash. Most car washes don't want you to wash something that is fairly muddy.
fuzzy wuzzy Judging by the name calling, you voted for Hillary. Way to have a grown up conversation.
phatrides222000 and exactly where is he gonna wash it off into? his Yard? cuz that would really nice with a ton of mud sprayed all over his yard
Rusty Shackleford how would carry his motorbikes in a prius?

Wow, times sure sound different then.
Sorry, but that was just wet grass and puddles... Not even 4WD worthy.
Thats what I was thinking haha
preston121068 hell my driveway is worse than that.
the old Toyotas will out do any domestic truck in a off-road trail scenario . Let's be real here . And no I don't drive Toyota

Isn't our new generation great? WE'RE SO PROGRESSIVE AND NEW AGED. We're, like, enlightened and stuff. #yolo
trucks are made to be trucks, a Yuppie like you should have a Toyota Camry.
My thoughts exactly
"Momentum is our friend". I've been saying that for years. That's is so true and one of my favorite lines. Momentum and leverage

BronzeChicken the pressure on the door is meant for the specific tire labeled.

Thanks for the vid Dalton, it was fun to watch.
you dont run your tires at the max pressure, unless you have a heavy load in the bed. look in your door for the proper tire pressures.
"when you go to clean something, you got something else to clean up. illuminati " lol funniest shit ive heard in a long time
Man nothing better than a sound of a 6.6 diesel coming through my ear phones
Quit your crying that is what trucks are for.

I take my non lifted GMC Sierra mudding and I've broken so much stuff. Makes it thru everything tho
Cause its a gmc
MrDubstep 226 yeah gmc can be beasts
Gmc and chevy are the same. They alright.
yeah, I have taken my parents honda pilot and have gotten stuck every time and have dented the bumpers, I have decided to invest in a old piece of shit truck just to beat the shit out of it. believe it or not, most standard trucks like yours have about the same clearance of the pilot.
Jacob Avery why would you take that suv to go mudding?😂😂😂

Well you know, there are some people who own trucks for... work, you know.
I live in Louisiana, and anything with 4 wheel drive is 4 muddin
“Now I hope we can get out” your kidding right lmao.... it’s a 4x4 duramax. If it clears the ground it’ll make it through

my tires are low, they max out at 50 and they are only at 41. dear god wtf. - im assuming your kidding.
ThunderHead289 yeah no one ever puts 41 psi in a truck even when musing you want as low pressure as possible
yeah Im pretty sure you're only supposed really run like 30-32 psi

Here in central New York it's all ready snowing and I'm snowmobiling.
5 minutes of fun = 5 days of cleaning mud out of everything
come on guys, you know these new Yorkers.most action he's seen in his life.probably the only mud pit in new york
Cameron Ward No high capacity mud pits!
yup lol
Are u sure about that sir!
10 minutes of fun equals 1 hr of work
with the lack of riding videos and profile pic change its safe to say this channel is done with riding dirt bikes
hkbbs nah dude there will probably still br some riding
hkbbs dirt bikes are what made his channel so popular I highly doubt he will stop making riding videos it's like 40 degrees here it's a little chilly to ride calm down
His Honda is down and it's November. Relax, if you were in his shoes you'd be doing the same.

That some of the funnest mud ever. Perfect donut mud!
I feel dumber for having watched this video.
when your in the mud you just gotta send it. Great job bud you sent it hard
You don't put it in four-wheel-drive until you get stuck

Make an army with your friends duramaxes and go tuck-o war 3 vs 3 and offroading etc.!!!
ToTheMax that'd cost way to muck dmax are 10 g easy
Brent Mcveeney why would it be that expensive when they already have trucks.
His friends have Duramax's already.
tuck-o-war? really? that's almost worse than those "bone app the feet" posts
James Denton or bone apple tea
If your weather is like here in PA then the last time you inflated your tires it was probably 70 degrees and now it is in the 40's. I noticed all my car tires were about 5 pounds low due to the drastic temperature change.

Dalton, The best tires for 70% road and amazing grip off road are the INTERCO SS-M16 tires. You will get 40 to 50 thousand miles out of them and they will grip anything. Check them out. We can spend 40 dollars at the car wash just to clean the mud off our 4X4 down in Louisiana!!!
dude, just hose it off then hit it with the pressure washer at home. Why are you wasting your money there.
Hey 3dmachines I work for a locally owned rust proofing, oil treatment and I'll make sure we will get both bumpers and a heavy under coat.
lol
When I saw him put a couple dollars in for change I was laughing my ass off. You need a couple of 10s. Yes sir, he definitely hasn't done much off-roading
were u just driftin in a 4wd durranax
mark zamiechowski he was
mark zamiechowski Hell yeah he was.
Did that with my suv once. I discovered I'm too OCD to get my car this dirty. Never again.
soooooo, it's dumb to use something for one of the uses it was designed for?...
Apparently, probably just did it so he had something for his daily video.
FlipFlop Mechanic duramax is designed to tow not go through mud
Tyson Reid It's 4WD, it can handle the mud and tow at the same time.
Tyson Reid 4wd truck= not on road use all the time though otherwise it wouldn't have 4wd
the 4wd on a diesel is designed for light mud and snow
At least we got to see the duromax actually mud bogging 😝😄
city slicker
Your truck hates you! 😂
give the Duramax tow mirrors
2022 and still re watching old vids, wish you uploaded more
Nice video keep up the good work
I went mudding once. Been there done that. The wear and tear on my daily driver wasn't worth it. I like seeing others do it. I get to watch and then walk away.
Ooo. You're so brave typing mean things sourc3canna. Everyone on the internet is so scared of you. Ooo.
Why even owning a truck when you think it dumb to take it in the mud?
Shotgunner5402 I use my jeep for mud and my truck to trailer my jeep to the mud
Yeah and that's fine. He just seems like the guy that would own a Prius!

I love these videos please keep posting videos like this 💯💯💯it keeps me entertained 😎👊🏻keep up the good work
egh... idk man lol .. weird video compared to others
and to think ....you tube recommended that for me. Ok, so you went through a little bit of mud with your truck....that is what trucks with 4wd are for!!
Can someone help me with the title? It says his truck was dumb. Isn't he the dumb one in the video?
thought the same thing, read the title again, he's saying he was dumb for mudding his truck. it's just bad english is all, but he was saying that yes he was dumb for doing it
so. many. quarters. "I have no idea what I'm doing"
these videos are so out of order
Purposely drive it in the rain to remove what you couldn't. Be careful not to remove the frame coating with the pressure washer or where you live rust will come quick.
You are at 20 000 likes on your previous video. We will be expecting you to hold up your end of the bargain.
Tony Hawk he better or im unsubing that vid was disappointing as hell
Same here man, it's been a long time since I've actually gotten angry at a video, and that video irritated me something fierce. Put it in the title and then the whole video was Meh and then to not even get an exploding car which was the only reason why I clicked it. Then him knowing it was going to get a lot of dislikes so he then promises to post the content he promised in the shitty videos title, if it gets a ton of likes... that irritated me even more
And the point of that absolutely irrelevant message was? I've been a long time subscriber as well, and don't plan on unsubbing, as long as he doesn't plan on writing click bait shitty videos
clay collins the point of the message was figured out by you. when you read it and responded to it.
Please try harder in writing a coherent comprehensible comment. The shit you're writing makes damn near zero sense
Well that was my full dose of cringe for the day!
wow,,,,,,very unimpressive!
Yea leave the mud on that's what I do, helps cover up the chipped paint from the rocks and chunks of mud slingin up on it lol 😂
this is nothing lol
This would be a great time to find out your 4wd doesn't work lol
definitely wouldn't last 5mins really mudding
Love the vlogs man. Keep up the great work!
why are your teeth so damn sharp
Addison Bliss HE'S A SHARK
+gamer studios my first guess
Whoa, everyone is on this topic, lol. i was thinking dracula/vampire. Shark is good, too. I like it.
I remember taking my 2wd 95 f150 on winter tires through that kinda mud last spring, although it was probably close to 10-12 miles of it. I did get stuck about 2 miles from the cabin I was going to though. sure made me miss 4x4. summer 2015 I spent $83 washing my truck after going mudding
that truck is so sexy
+3DMachines...where in ny are you located. ? I only ask because if you travel a lot of state maintained roads in the winter...the brine souloution we use will literally eat that truck if there's mud for it to soak into. Hell, a once or twice a week wash should be mandatory once we have salt on the roads.
that is not mudding
lawn sprinklers work wonders for getting the mud from the underside
queerosexual
Your truck actually looks cool muddy
#rollcoal
oh ya

Matt Cleary 😂
you couldn't have gotten that truck any cleaner even if you took it to a professional... good job man!
It's about time that truck got some mudd on it.
"Oh no, i got mud on my truck"
