Another good video to listen to is one titled "Josh Hommes/kyuss/QOTSA" sound? and it has amazing demos of muted lowish gain that maintain an awesome crunch with good drone type sustain for power chords while going up for higher notes as well. Totally different to the sounds here so very versatile!
That arpeggiated part with the Strat had some Ty Tabor sauce on it -- nice. Pedal sounds great -- you're crankin out the content Pete -- thanks.
When you added the Terc Chorus that was an amazing sound...
This is one of my favorite pedals! 🔥🔥🔥 Creamy-smooth distortion is the best way I can think of to describe it.
Great pedal easy to get 3 entirely different sounds. Much better sustain then most!!! I have had mine for at least 3 years!!!

Sounds very much like Ty-especially when he kicks in the chorus with the Strat-playing that drop D arpeggiated pattern! King’s X are way too obscure for being the absolute Kings of their own-completely unique-sound and style of power trio, progressive, Beatlesque, CSNish, rock! Absolute masters! Have I overstated anything? Nope...no I haven’t! Sounds awesome, @Pete Thorn! Keep up the great work!!! 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
Thats the first thing I thought! And of course that pulled me right in! That FULLTONE TERC is a must now! In tandem with the The Dawner Prince Red Rox of course. Those clean arpeggios over the power chords are killer! I always avoided modulation, but I've been listening to the Cure's Disintegration album a lot lately, now I have an analog chorus and flanger coming in the mail LOL...
I read a comment on a live Cure video that said "Disintegration= perfect synths, Wish= perfect guitars", and I have to agree.
Worth mentioning: you can power it with 9V or 18V DC power supply :)

I bought the Red Rox a couple of months ago after months of trying out OD pedals. It’s far and away the best/most versatile single OD I’ve tried in 20 years. Incredibly versatile, feels great, works with everything, and sounds beautiful on low gain settings too. Love it.
Right on! In a blindfold test of 35 of the best OD's and a lot of them that cost a lot more this one came in first!!!

I keep the gain on mine around 9-10 o clock. I then can hit the front of it with a morning glory or BCC TI boost for more

This Pedal is an under rated pedal.It was out quite some time ago.
I really liked that FULLTONE TERC chorus part and I usually can't stand chorus... If The guitar part sounds like it came from *The Craft,* I say it's done right and you got it right. That movie is the standard that I use to measure proper chorus, not that my opinion matters. 🤣
The first pedal I ever bought and all to play *BLACKHOLE SUN* in the late 90's and the only effect I don't use at all.. First time I heard that song was 1994 in New Braunfels chilling in a hammock trying to get to sleep while camping with my family.
I have one of these, it sounds exactly like of the demo videos online. It has phenomenal character and texture! Another stellar track Pete, thanks bro!
