  • This video introduces the Brynjudalsa River, which is located on the west coast of Iceland - just a forty minute drive from the capital, Reykjavik. This small but beautiful stream produces both sea trout and salmon. The river is crystal clear and you will often see the fish in the pools; watching their reaction and every movement. Just two rods fish the river at a time, making it very exclusive.
This video introduces the lodge and fishing, which is available through www.FishTravel.co.uk - please contact info@FishTravel.co.uk for more information.

Worth visiting for the scenery alone - stunning location. Thanks for watching.

Does this location offer day trips vs multiple days at a lodge?

Could nicely do without the music and with a discussion of flies and technique. Nice small river; reminds me of one I fished in the north not far from Myvatn lake. I was surprised at the size of the flies as char fishing in the Highlands uses smaller midge larva flies.
