Looks exactly like the Dualit bean to cup coffee machine which I’ve just bought and awaiting delivery of. I was thinking of getting a more expensive De’longhi one but I like the simplicity of this machine.
I find out that the espresso is watery . I did adjust the grinder to the finest setting BUT the result still far from espresso grade more likely v60 . Too coarse
Good video thanks for sharing. I wish Beko made this in either all silver or in a white edition...I struggle to convince my wife that we need such gadgets as it is never mind when they don't match the others in the kitchen 😂
Hey John, thanks for your feedback! I would recommend my operation and maintenance video of the CEG5311X as this contains a lot of useful information for owners. Please subscribe to support my channel. All the best, TruePreView
I have replaced my old Delonghi Esam4000 (the broadest and largest one) with the beautiful compact Beko ceg5301. It's extremely silent in comparison with the Esam4000. I do however can't get the coffee as dark and strong..
@martijn did you find a solution to this? Was it the beans and the grind (fine/coarse) that affected it? I have just bought this machine and am finding the same issue.
@@jamesdcooper01 I sold it after half a year because of it. I bought myself a Delonghi again. I've even had to send the beko in for repair, because it was always a coffee mess inside when I needed to empty the coffeerest container. Coffee gunk on all sides etc.. it was fixed afterwards, but the coffee was just too weak for my taste.
That’s because this machine isnt a true espresso machine, its just a a pressurized filter coffee maker. Machine just compresses the grounds into a puck and runs hot water thru it. The 19 bar pressure advertisement is a lie. You’d get better espresso-like quality using a cheap bialetti.
how many grams of coffee does it grind for a single espresso? and does it grind double that when you hit the double espresso button or is it same amount of coffee with double the water? thanks
Thanks. Can you make filter coffee, capuccino and latte (and even hot chocolate) with this machine. If not, do you know which type of coffee machine will, my parents want one that can make all 3 of these?
After much trial & error for the strongest/darkest coffee result you want to use dark roast beans and have the dial all the way to '+' Then hit the strong espresso button. I have x two hits of the strong and is perfect
Hello! I have bought this product today and I made a couple of espressos, but this button was always showing and it's really annoying. The button is the "Lights up stably" which says the coffe grounds container is full.I have tried to empty the coffe ground contanier but it still shows the same button and the other buttons don't light up the way they used to. I was hoping you'd help me,also this is the only channel i found useful to ask.Thank you!
Great review, it helped me to purchase this machine and I love it. Just one question, do you find that the first cup of coffee each day is not as good as the subsequent cups?
Hi Ben, thanks for your comment. I bought this directly from the BEKO website. I believe that in the UK it can also be bought in Amazon and AO.com. I hope this helps? Please like and subscribe for more reviews! All the best, TruePreView.
Hi Johnathan, thanks for your comment. To make a longer black coffee you can either programme one of the two options on the top of the machine to dispense the required amount of water, or you can dispense hot water from the steam wand and simply add a double espresso. I bought it directly from the BEKO website. I hope this helps? Please like and subscribe for more reviews. All the best, TruePreView.
Great review TruePreView - how much can you adjust the desired amount of water? Can you make a perfectly delicious full mug of coffee (like you would with say instant coffee)? Also, it might sound stupid... but when does the coffee not become an espresso, so to speak? Or is really espresso just the way it's brewed? For instance, if you ask for an espresso in a shop you'll get a tiny thimble of a glass with a couple shots. So when does that not become an espresso? If you add more water and then add more milk to it?
Hey Dan, thanks for your question. You are able to adjust the water so that it produces a full cup of coffee. However, the machine will dispense the same amount of coffee, so you espresso will be diluted to what is commonly known as an Americano. I hope this helps answer your question? @@Dan-ph6nh a double shot espresso from 18 grams of beans at 2 fluid ounces diluted with 200-250 ml of hot water should fill up a mug equivalent to the caffeine strength of 2-3 teaspoons of instant coffee.

you should have shown what the coffee look like in the cup. It looks a bit watery when its coming out...
A very concise explanation of your choice. Thank you. you have given me the confidence to purchase.

Asking the right questions.
Can you make filter coffee, cappucino and latte with this? How about hot chocolate, if I put hot choc powder in it?

What do you mean, do you mean the 2nd one made by the machine taste nicer and the 1st one taste crap?
Maybe issues coffee residues starting to ferment inside the machine overnight. You should do a thorough clean up of the brew group each night.
Super review thanks. So where can this be purchased from?

It grinds, it grinds, but no coffee out.
Likely blocked with coffee. Just repairing one now that only pours hot water and no coffee it’s so badly blocked up.
Same as this one ua-cam.com/video/rpRciwaAvAg/v-deo.html, but 1/3 of its price.
Mould is a big issue with this machine
