As a musician from birth I find this particular episode, with the analogy to sheet music and whole importance music has been in and to my life, Of playing for the London Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, Trudging through the wind swept, snow covered streets of London from Charing cross to Foyle's book store on Shaftesbury Avenue, Entering by the front doors and taking the back stairs all the way up to the sheet music section up on the fifth floor and sifting through reams of Bach, Mozart, Mahler and Haydn and many other composers music modern and ancient just to find one specific hopefully rarely listened to musical score, and then returning with a heavy anticipation of learning the score and it's unknown melodic secrets to their completeness, and I would continually practice the music until it became second nature, in such never having to read it again in practice and performance, committing the whole piece to memory. this Video has been that same journey... and so with my cards.... only then when I have the captured the soul and meaning in its completeness of my Tarot deck having it too emblazoned upon my memory, would I ever dare to then commit my deck to the flames. the reason for the flames is that by adding the ashes to my compost heap they may then once again find a way back to me in the cycle of life for such is all one on the wheel of life. :) Many Thanks "M" and Blessed Be!
Did it help? Yeah! The Tarot as sheet music analogy resinated big time with me. It was like banging two trash can lids together. Thank you so much for you help on this issue.
Make art! Place the cards in different places to establish correspondences. Be creative! Gift it to someone to introduce them to tarot. Maintain flow instead of letting it collect dust in a closet. ;)
