I first saw Big Head Todd at the Mange Moose in Teton Village. That was in 1990, Todd is a explosive player and Rob and Brian are the glue. Midnight Radio is a MUST have album.
Ive always liked Big head a lot, ever since I heard "Crazy Mary". The drummer in the band ( dont know his name ), is one of the old school, we used to call a "workman" on drums. Tight, creative without bashing headless. GREAT DRUMMER on a live stage. Bravo.
@ArturoSkandha Yes, that would be the great Jeremy Lawton playing the slide to the right on the stage and to the left of Todd. The challenge I faced while filming this was that there was a speaker riser and light stand to my immediate right which partially blocked Jeremy from my point of view. So, Jeremy's depiction in the video was, sadly, limited. As for the wide angle - simply a camera limitation from that close - couldn't get wide enough.
A Fender simply does not work for this song, drummer is great, decent vocals. The studio version sounds much better. Great bands are always better live, not the case here.
