The “mini city” was for the kids to play and explore when they were a patient so that they don’t just sit in a bed all day. It’s like a children’s museum.
Was the area in the middle possibly a place for dementia patients to feel like they're living the real world? Things like the newspaper really have me leaning that way.
Possibly! Or an occupational therapy unit to help patients re-learn daily tasks. Or just a realistic mock town to help patients feel more comfortable doing familiar things while having to be in a strange hospital.
Fleet bank has been closed and defunct for years, it was headquartered in Boston and was bought by Bank of America 🇺🇸 ( commenting on that sign you filmed in the rehab area )
I explored the infamous overbook hospital in Essex County very early on in its abandonment. The power was still on. It was mid summer and all the air conditioners were running.
You got bando bluebaws! 🤣🤣(Spelled that way because YT doesn't let adults be adults and use big people words. 🙄) I love watching explores of hospitals, even thought I hate them. Did it still have the smell? You guys are sneaky, I love it! A cam!!! -pushes it to the side- lol
Sounds like someone was taking a wiz while y'all were in the morgue 😂 I'm sure some water was just running somewhere off camera. . Never seen a hospital with a sewing room. Interesting! Did they make their own gowns and stuff? Or just for teaching maybe? Very cool video.
Haha yea there was dripping water in the morgue. They did make all of the gowns in the hospital. I've been in many abandoned hospitals and it was my first time seeing that I believe. Some of the really old hospitals would have a sewing room but that was for the patients, not for workers to sew all the patient gowns like this one had. Thanks for watching our video!
So this hospital as well as still having power is heated as well? That seems strange as it would take lots of upkeep and work to keep an entire building's worth of heater(s) all working at once
Very fascinating video! Amazing it went out of business and became abandoned. Sign of the times! I love that sewing machine (5:38). I would buy it if I could. Talk about heavy duty!
Most germs and even deadly viruses are no longer active after a certain amount of time. This hospital has probably been abandoned for a few years. The biggest danger would be falling or something falling on them.

I love the vibe of these places when they are *abandoned.* Great job. That takes alot when there is security right there.
I love the Hospital videos and especially the morgue I love y'all's videos thank you for another awesome one
We love the hospital explores also! Thanks for watching our video!

It’s crazy to me that the fire alarm system in this place is newer than 2017. Very recent for a recently abandoned building.
That was installed after the building was already abandoned. First time I explored this was in 2018.
This explore was so dam rad. Loved it.
Much appreciated Jeff! Thank you for watching.
😍😍😍 Sick explore guys!
Thank you Alison!
Always interesting! ✌🏼

I think they do that to help prevent decay, the pipes will burst in the winter if no heat, and the power on is for the security, fire alarms, etc.
Thats dope
Glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching!

The actual stupid part is the grammar in your comment.
