- I think it's pretty safe to say none of us were expecting that finale to go down the way it did. At first I was heartbroken, I wanted so much for teresa to admit some kind of emotion towards James, show him she really does care, but then as days went by I realized that her goodbye was just so Teresa and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. If teresa were to all the sudden just pour out her feelings, it would be so out of character. I'm glad the writers did what they did because we'll get to see her go through the stages of missing him, and then finally finding out the true reasoning behind him leaving. plus we're guaranteed an epic reunion because of this so that'll be AMAZING. Anyway, I was gonna do this video to a super sad song but I just kept getting stuck on the song choice and didn't find anything that stuck out. If anyone has any song suggestions please comment and let me know! I hope you like the video and thanks for watching!!

James looks shy, he looks away from her almost everytime they are close to each other, seems like a great show of affection for her!!
Theresa easily let go of James. She had to tell him more than that: take care of yourself. He loves her and it hurts him to leave.
I hope next season we get an epic takedown of Devon, and then a reunion for James and Teresa with understanding and love

I knew something wasn't going to be right. Didn't want to watch the finale, and at the last moment, I did. I, too, was hoping she would tell him how she felt, but it would be out of character. She did tell him, "I don't want you to leave." But, James knew he had already made a commitment elsewhere in order to protect her. I, like you, was not expecting this type of ending. It broke my heart and have been sort of numb and feeling sort of empty. I saw a popup window and clicked on your Shattered and what you've said makes a lot of sense. I truly hope that she will begin to miss him and we can peek into those memories we never saw like she had with Guero. That something inside her and nightmares won't allow her to rest, and she begins searching him out. I truly and not so patiently await that Epic reunion. Beautifully done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Agree with you 100%. They've already been separated once (end of season 2), the only difference now is they've crossed the line, openly showing that they both have deep feelings for one another. It'll be interesting to see how the writers decide to have her handle being away from him. Will she just be normal Teresa and keep building her walls, or will she finally decide it's time to open up? We shall see. Im glad you liked the video !! :)

When he keeps saying "to protect us" I feel like he's trying to tell her in a cryptic way that he think their an "us". Its not a secret, James is very private & doesn't really talk much about himself & how he feels but, when it comes to Teresa, there's a clear vulnerability that we see & him saying that, proves that he had such strong feelings for her & he will always have them no matter what Teresa does!
