@@YAH-1 Yes, it is the cycle of life.
What a wonderful comment! I am sure if he ever reads your comment, he is gonna be pleased to hear so.
by 👍😎👌
He already has lived way longer than most, and I should think he cherishes the long life of discovery he's had.
The way this mother protects her baby, using herself as a bridge to help him climb, is such a wonderful treat to watch!

She's a Great Mommy ❤
Orangutans are the most precious of the great apes.
The baby is precious when it makes that face with her bottom lip sticking out. Total concentration!
That was awesome. I love how she stretched out, and he climbed across her. 😁
His little back body! 😂❤🥹
Baby orangutans are just the cutest! I love there permanent bed head! 😂
Orangutans are really beautiful animals, they are iconic animals of Borneo. 😊
Thanks for telling us the obvious
@@lambdalambdalambda257 Not fond of "Captain Obvious"?🤔
They are only animals if human are animals to you too
If thats the case yes
Beautiful animals
@@Kinjia200euro - Sooo, if one did NOT consider humans to be animals, one could not consider orangutans to be beautiful animals..? What kind of logic is that?
@mokarokas-1727 What kind of logic is not considering humans animals?
Orangutan mothers look so wise
Beautiful creatures, we must protect their habitat. 🌍
I really like his face in the thumbnail 😂
Don't know why but this practically had me in tears!
It was just wonderful to witness a protecting orangutan mother taking care of her baby. They felt quite human
IN MY VIEW
I love how this mother takes care of her baby boy. When he was tired and could not go any further, she simply put him on her back.
This is just absolutely stunning footage; absolute art. Incredible.
The thumbnail!!😭🥺🥹🤍
very gentle. Mother is very patient in teaching. Awesome video.
I love orangutans, I somehow don't see them as much of an animal as I do the rest, altmost like they're something between us and the animal kingdom. They are my favorite
The gentlest and kindest of all apes including human!
Perhaps the most precious thing I've ever seen...
The camera work, coupled with Sir David’s voice, weaves a compelling narrative.
Orangutans are one of my favorite animals. Interesting to think about Gigantopithecus as well
What an absolutely beautiful video and a reminder of why we .need to protect our amazing planet Earth...💚🌎💙

Adorable animals. Peaceful, intelligent and quiet. Pity we humans couldn't learn from them. Fantastic to see them in them in the wild. Great film making.
Such a cute and adorable baby~💞

Happy to see that healthy relationship.. There is a Hope to change some things through respect and care by the human being side
Nice so chill
É tão incrível...este vídeo!! O que a mãe faz..além de uma espargata para a engraçada cria chegar ao melhor menu!! Adorei ..ver o inato no ser humano numa vida de orangotangos!!
Woooow this guy Sir David still doing this 🤝🏽. No quitting any time soon I hope
😁👍Such a human reaction @00:22
They share 97% of our DNA
Not a human reaction, an ape reaction. We share many similarities with our fellow apes.
@@BlGGESTBROTHER humans are apes... So?
Nature videos are for more glorious in 4K!
Merci!
Their slow movement looks like tai-chi in trees.

Man this CGI looks unreal omg!
Приятно видеть их в лесу на деревьях как и должно быть
As much as I love these slightly more furry people, I also must wonder how it's even possible to film .... ANUTHING there up in the trees. Massive shoutout to the camera people !!! :D
Whenever I watch these videos of orangutans in the wild, I always notice how healthy they look.
When you see them in a zoo setting, many times their hair has bald spots, besides being bored out of their lives. Same goes with the chimps.
I understand that we need zoos, it's just refreshing to see these wonderful animals in their natural setting, doing what they are supposed to be doing.
That's because wild orangutans are solidary creatures. They live alone in the wild until it's time to mate. Then they go their separate ways. When the female gives birth she will raise the baby and teach it all it needs to know to survive in its first seven years of life and then they too will go their own ways if I'm not mistaken. I could be wrong and the kid could possibly stay with the mom until their like 12 or 13 and are reaching sexual maturity before splitting ways I can't remember 100%. But in zoos and even sanctuaries sometimes if their housed permanently they will be housed in groups of usually roughly 3-5 females with their children if they have any and one male are housed together. That is until the young are about 6 or 7 and get moved from the group to the nursery until their sexual nature and can go make their own family group. So where wild orangutans only groom themselves, very rarely may get groomed by a mate when mating, or mother and child will groom each other during the rearing process, captive orangutans have company all the time so they groom and get groomed a whole lot causing them to lose fur in spots that are over groomed. Especially the higher their rank in their troop they get groomed by the lower ranked members more often and the male will get groomed the most causing them to lose fur in multiple spots.
@@Lette4lyfe101orang's allmost do not groom each other at all!
They are solitary arboreal apes, never living in grouos, only mother & child stay together for 7/8 yrs,but then they separate for good...
Most other species groom 24/7,as you said very important process, deciding hierarchy/submissivness,relationships and so much more.
Just saying
Marvellous!
Aww what a sweet video. ♥️
These are the stories I'm falling in love with.
