@@bear6699 you too! my show isn’t until June but I’m so excited! I did a black denim jacket for rep. I still think I need some sparkle in the front but not sure what to do
Love it!! I am currently following your tutorial and it looks incredible so far. I'm starting on the sleeves but it is getting harder the further I go down the sleeve since I can't see the inside of the sleeve. How did you do your sleeves?
I’ve seen so many videos and, I must say, this is the best one I’ve seen and *correct.* My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 6 or 7? I’m 33 now and one of my favorite things to do is embroider. I LOVE it. Labor of love but the end result is *so* worth it and is *quality*. Excellent work and excellent tutorial! Question: Does it ever get caught on anything, does it catch your hair, and does it ever tangle or twist?
Thank you for this video your voice is soothing to listen too ! How is the jacket doing now? Would you make more loops to hold the rhinestones in place after wearing it a while? Super cute jacket! 💖😊
Im so making this! Just a quick question though. If you had to clean it would you have to dry clean the jacket or could you put it in the wash on the delicate cycle?
Hey Maria! I would be super hesitant to put it in the washing machine. You can definitely have it dry cleaned, but I've just been spot cleaning it. I would do that, or even hand wash it!
How many rolls did you buy for this project.i have one roll 10 yards same item from amazon i was wondering to make this one few months ago but still dont know how many rolls do i need
Hey there! Mine took me 6.5 rolls. I did the pieces all the way across and made them about 8" long. You could get away with less rolls if you do shorter fringe or space the pieces out a bit. I wanted mine to look like a solid "curtain" though. For that look, I would say you need to order 6 or 7 rolls!
Hey Ayriana! The full list of material links is in the description box, but this is the direct link to the rhinestone chain- Rhinestone Trim: amzn.to/3rvErIk
haha I just responded to your other question, but if you don't have a seam that runs down your sleeve, take a ruler and light pencil and mark a straight line to follow!
I purchased a heavy duty needle that's designed for stitching into denim! Then, with hand-stitching, I just followed the seam that was already running down the sleeves.
You did that sis. This is the first hand CUT and sewn rhinestone fringe tutorial I've seen.
Thank you! I just finished mine and followed your tutorial! My eras tour jacket will be amazing 😊
I'm here for my eras tour jacket too (denim vest) so yassssss, I hope your outfit comes together perfectly and you have the best time!!!

This is exactly what I was looking but for a competition dress. I'm glad you went with the real rhinestones too!
Cries in Plus size. I would need so many spools!
Hope you guys enjoy! Let me know what you think about using real rhinestones vs faux and tell where you think I should wear this jacket first!!

I think this came out really nice! I would add more fringe on the front seams too

Love it! How long did it take you to do it?

Hermoso 💚😍 saludos desde Argentina 😁
I would use E6000 and sew them on for extra security.
So beautiful! That would that me forever!! And I don't know how to sew. Will glue work🤔😂
Yes like gorilla glue or Krazy glue

Do you have a link to the ones you used?
Buy the crystal fringe instead is real crystals but cheaper and already fringed.. I bought the same one and then found out about the fringe 🤦♀️
May I ask how many hours roughly were put into this? Trying to work out if I can make one in time for an event 😂
Oh man haha 😂 it was a lot. I worked on it for five days I think? 3 hours every evening. I did everything by hand though
Are these stones 2mm for 4mm
What is a faux rhinestone I thought rhinestone were faux diamonds
What size are these rhinestones?
Do you mind posting the link of the rhinestone chain you used??

My lines are definitely not that clean 😂 I’m stuck on how to sew the rhinestones into the sleeves
