And I tell you, those guys were also better against Argentina with Maradona in the next game, but had no luck. After the game we saw many sad Spanish people on the city. I watched this game , and enjoyed it 30 years ago. little did we know that was one of the last games Yugoslavia played as a united country and what a horrible war !!! Sad it had to be divided with so much blood on so many people’s hands
What a player. We had a lot of very good top players at that time in WC Italy (Savicevic, Prosinecki...), Yugoslavia deserved to play in final of WC 90. We were much better opponent against Argentina, but sadly we lost in penalty kick roulette.

As i said i am not a believer, i know there is a God and it's as simple as that, we humans make it complicated for nothing and out of fear ofcourse for the unknown. People always had rituals all over the world, fires, colored eggs, praying, that actually never changed. In the end all that's important is what you feel for yourself.
