when the series was announced, the hijacking was the one event i was most hoping to see brought to life, as someone who read the comic. i wasn't disappointed -- even with the editorial changes, which, for most of the series, have been smart. (this may be hard to grok, but the show actually tones down a lot of the book's extreme content.) in the comic, the entire seven showed up. their previous speedster "marathon" was decapitated by the plane itself. (a-train was not yet a member of the seven and was therefore absent.)
