Love sunseeker boats! Great for getting to a destination quick! I used to take my 76 sunseeker from key west to Bahamas! I'm waiting on a new boat now. The market is crazy for boats right now..
Very well done! Calming and peaceful with your commentary. We will make sure that you get several merit badges … after we have a chat with your Girl Scout Den Mother. May you have a great journey on this trip? 😊 TRS
I’d love to subscribe but any chance you guys will ever show more technical items such as all information on pre-check on all items prior to departure, and same when you arrive for us beginners?!! Also maybe showing us your charting info so if we ever go would be beneficial helping us? Thank you!
Hi Stephen, our channel is not just about charter or trips. We are happy to answer any questions. Now that we moved to Fort Lauderdale, we're still looking for our next boat. Thx for watching!
I did that crossing on a 38' sailboat....at night. That was an adventure. We took turns on freighter watch and yes that is a real thing. Enjoy your boating and S. Florida 🌴
According to PMY, at 31knots and 2100 RPM the GPH is 137 with a range of 263. At 17 knots, it gets its best range at 359 and the GPH is only 56. Thx for watching!
Just fyi…. “Technically” only the captain is allowed to disembark the vessel for customs and all others should stay on the boat until he/she returns. 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Not yet. We're now in Florida, looking. First the insurance company has to approve the slip location....which we are finding difficult due to hurricane season

Great question! This was a work trip and we used the yacht to transport 14 staff members. Only the captain stayed on it, so this brand new yacht stayed impeccable for our customers to enjoy during the trip.
I work for the company that took this yacht thru the Bahamas with our customers (we sell yachts). In the marine industry, we call these "Rendezvous" - you can go back to 2019, and I host many of them in the PNW for my last company. Thank you for watching!
As we mentioned in the video and in all of the comments, the boat was for sale and was on display at each stop. Plus we had over 12 staff with us and the boat doesn't sleep that many. Thanks for watching!
I'm not really sure what this channel is about? We didn't see any tour of the actual yacht, which would have been nice and minimal tours of anything else. Are you selling boats, or just randomly traveling with a bunch of other boats?
@@BoatingJourney I'm aware. I'm a long time boater. I call my 60 a boat. At this point it's just easy for me to tell the reason why people call their boats yachts. Where I'm from, the people own 90s call them boats.
@DiamondD funny how you don't know that technically anything over 40 ft is considered a yacht in the Marine industry, above that you have superyacht and mega yacht. You're just a boat owner not a manufacturer I don't think you qualify to name things. Stay in your lane.
@@diamondd1234 Actually if you want to speak facts any vessel over 30 ft is considered a yacht. But I understand why you don't see it that why because you like I obviously have owned several (Boats) big and small and when you own a 36 or 43 ft boat its hard to compare it to my 74 ft viking. So I consider it a yacht the 36 not so much and a 43 I called a mini yacht. But over 60 ft your definitely at yacht status

Awesome! Can't wait to do the trip again! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing these great cruises!
Thank you for following our journey!
I don't know anything about yachting but your video was really entertaining.
Thank you so much!
We’ve sailed over twice on scuba trips. Bimini is Beautiful!…….
We're hoping to get over there more often now that we live in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks for watching!
I am about to make my first crossing in April in the Hatteras I'm restoring. I can't wait and after seeing this video, I'm so psyched!!!
How exciting!! We still need to have a cocktail. Once the Palm Beach Boat Show is over, we'll reach out!

@@trsRider thank you so much!
Soooo beautiful leaving that early with the lights.
It was such a cool experience, especially that early!
So jealous!! Great video and yacht.
Thank you!
I have crossed twice in a 19’ OB. Fun trips!
Awesome!
We used to race sailboats to Bimini back in the 80s and 90s. That place sure built up.
Now that would be fun!! Thanks for watching!

Dreaming of taking a boat to Bimini one day.
Its a great trip!!
Why pay for a room…that boat has everything you need.
Because the boat was on "display" since it was for sale. We had a crew of 10 and we couldn't all sleep on it. Thanks for watching!
This boat is stunning but I think you need to consider an 84'+ yacht for an even better ride across to bimini.
She ran beautifully!
This is the way to travel there. Sod going across on a Whaler or other such boat.
Thanks!!
Would like to see more of the boat you’re on.

Will be making that crossing this summer on my new Sirena 68 and I don't know if I can wait!
We are so jealous, what a gorgeous yacht! Safe travels!
Great video. A same you have to get off the Sunseeker every night. Who was sponsoring the group cruise? Cruising the Bahamas is so lovely.
Thank you. This was a customer Rendezvous for OneWater Yacht Group. Unfortunately, we had too many staff members on the trip. T
I would hate to see the fuel burn for a 74 ft yacht at 30 knots.
What was the hurry? Cruise at an economical speed
Wonderful journey. What is fuel burn at 31 knots? Thats some speed for 74. I have taken Axopar 37 - full throttle at 48 knots from KW to Bimini.
According to PMY, at 31knots and 2100 RPM the GPH is 137 with a range of 263. At 17 knots, it gets its best range at 359 and the GPH is only 56. Thx for watching!
I would have 0 stress doing that on that ship!!! Lol
Lol!
Nice. Subscribed...
Thanks Derrick! We appreciate you following us!
We are crossing on Jet Skis this Summer.
Whoa! Safe travels! That's epic!
Just fyi…. “Technically” only the captain is allowed to disembark the vessel for customs and all others should stay on the boat until he/she returns. 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Yes, The Capt did that first. Then I went to the marina to pay. He had to return to customs as he left his phone :)
Lots of marinas in Seattle let u tie onto piling.
Did you guys really average 31 knots, that's very impressive for a boat that size.
No, our regular cruising speed was about 26 knots. We traveled at 31 knots from Staniel to Nassau only.
@@BoatingJourney still a vessel of That tonnage being able to go that fast is awesome! Beautiful vessel, and good video 👍

Top speed is 38 knots (and a range of 38 miles 😉🤣).
Thank you for a great video Ally and Scott. Gained a new subscriber.
Thanks Mark! Nice to meet you!
Yes , I am interested to know the type of accommodation on board your yacht?
4 staterooms
4 staterooms
did you ever get a boat replacement for the one you sold?

31 knots sounds quite fast for a 74 S/S
It was and our fuel burn was insane!
@@BoatingJourney numbers on the fuel burn? How much nMPG at the most economical speed?

Joe and Kamilla would not approve of your frivolous fuel burn.
Wait how did y’all get a slip with 5’9 depth on a 6’2 draft?
@@GrammatonClerics which marina?
I don’t understand why you pay for a VRBO when you have a 74ft yacht. Why not sleep on the yacht?
We have explained this. We had a large crew we were transporting and the yacht was on display at each island as it was for sale.
So, were all boats in the group for sale ?
The yacht was for sale and on display as we cruised the islands.
@@BoatingJourneyoh I see, thank you for responding 👍
You might want to mention the how and why of your trip.
Thank you. I did mention it in our blog, but good catch about the episode. Thanks for watching!
How much fuel did you use for this passage?
I don't have the fuel bills, but we filled up 3 times and our fuel capacity is 1268 gallons.
Hey, not a native speaker here. Isn't Cay pronounced like 'kei'?
Yes, sorry I may have mispoke during our crossing.
Its pronounced "key"
I do not know much about these trips but why don’t you stay on the boats at each stop?

Why don't you sleep on the boat?!?!?!?!?! What's the point of that kind of boat if you do not use most of it?

why dont they stay on that georgous boat?
We mention this. The boat was for sale and on display for our guests (think traveling boat show). Plus we had more staff on the boat than staterooms
Why stay in a hotel room when you have a 74 Yacht loaded with every comfort amenity?
The yacht was transporting our crew and it was "on display" as it was for sale. Each stop, we invited our customers onto it, so we kept it tidy.
Why would you get a hotel when your on a 74 ft yacht
As we mentioned in the video and in all of the comments, the boat was for sale and was on display at each stop. Plus we had over 12 staff with us and the boat doesn't sleep that many. Thanks for watching!
Why would sleep in a room, when you have a yacht......ddď door handles help to open doors 😅
We have explained this. We had a large crew we were transporting and the yacht was on display at each island as it was for sale.
Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in the yacht. Spent all this money on the purchase, might as well stay in it.

why do you tack a yacht to tour a room on land
not sure what you are asking?
