Love that you are showing some love to Clinique❤! I started using Clinique in the 7th grade, I am now 56 and am still a loyal Clinique girl, of course I have other brands but nothing can beat my tried and true Clinique loves, like their mascara, even better foundation, makeup cleansing balm, chubbie sticks and their skincare!
It was an eye shadow from Estée Lauder in Wild Iris . I’d just got married in1974 and I was 21 and it was a lot of money but I still bought it and loved it..❤
You know funny timing that Im totally thinking of going back to using Clinique x makeup. Wore in college ( decades ago) and when I see women doing videos with Clinique it looks really beautiful. It not quite as pricey as other foundations, etc. great video! 👍
Love you Brows and I was waiting to hear what you used on your brows especially the color. Great video by the way, you seem like a very nice person through and through.
Thank you for using Clinique products. I have been using them for years. I find their colors work really well as I age. I use other brands too, but I always come back to Clinique. Morning Java is a favorite of mine. Would like to see more. Thanks again.
Love your brushes! I am a Winter and I love color. I haven’t worn any brown, peach, beige, neutral eye shadows in years so it is amusingly interesting to hear you enthuse over colors I avoid.
Lisa, this entire look is gorgeous! Yes, Clinique was my 1st skincare line and I was close to 21 and used it for years and years. Believe it or not, but I have never worn their glamour - I was huge into Estee Lauder for the glamour. Now I need that lip combo.....gorgeous on you!
Lisa I wanted to thank @bkbeauty team for rushing the The BK109 sobibcould have it for the wedding. Omg that brush is a miracle for my mature and a tad textured skin. My makeup that night was flawless. Thank you again yallbare the best !!!!!❤
Clinique was my 1st love in the mid 90s and it still is today, even when I try other brands for fun. THANK YOU for doing a video with a face of Clinique! It made my day! Your look turned out beautiful as I knew it would. Keep sprinkling in Clinique products when you can.
My first high-end purchase was Clinique cleanser to help with my acne when I was a teenager. My first high-end makeup purchase was Estee Lauder foundation when I was 19. That was 38 years ago and I still use Estee Lauder foundation.
Clinique was the first high end makeup I wore in high school. My mom made an appointment for me for my first make over snd have the makeup artist teach me how to use the makeup 💄. Then I graduated to lancome. You are so beautiful.
My first high-end purchase was a Dior ultra gloss in 851, a beautiful sparkly red, in the early 2000’s/my early 30’s (still have it). I was a teen in the late 80’s in a small town and we just had nothing around (and couldnt afford if it was) so i didnt get into makeup until my late 20’s and even then i only bought inexpensive items- still mostly do :) Thank you for the video! 🧡👍🧡👍
Lisa that lip combo looks fabulous on you. Clinique was my first department store makeup. I had always just used Maybelline and Revlon really. I was in my 30’s back in the 80’s when I ventured out of drugstore.
I’ve had so many loves from clinique. Shout out to my bff @ 14 who taught me all about makeup. Her mother bought her Clinique and she shared with me. ❤ also Lisa, I love your love for blush pinks and mauve.. it’s my favorite color too.
Hello my friend Lisa, l am so happy you did this Clinique video. I used to be an avid user of Clinique products. I still use the Black Honey lipstick. I remember my first few makeup products: Avon 4 shadow pallet (rainbow shades. I was an 80’s teen 😂). My second brand was Mary Kay & then I transitioned to Merle Norman Cosmetics. At 17, I worked for Merle Norman Cosmetics. Last, I transitioned to Estée Lauder, MAC & then to luxury makeup. Thank you for asking. It reminded me of those days. You look absolutely gorgeous 😍. I’m going to try using my powder bronzer as a shadow. Thank for the reminder 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Clinique was my first makeup I ever used. My daughter worked at a Clinique makeup counter in elderBeermem store and I bought all of their facial cleaners and moisturizers and all the makeup I needed. It is a wonderful product!!
I use and love many Clinique products. The lash power mascara is an excellent tubing mascara. I also use their liquid eyeliner, the pop blush in black honey pop which is a beautiful mauve color, and their lipsticks with the hydrating core.
Lisa...I actually LOVE the way your eyes turned out!!!!!! Great "going to dinner" look!!!!!! I literally laughed out loud when you held up the eyeshadow sponge applicators, that is the only thing I used back in the day. I started to wear make up in 1978 at the age of 14....my first luxury anything was Halston perfume (and Calvin Klein jeans), literally before that is was Charlie from Walgreens! My first luxury beauty product was when my husband bought me Estee Lauder brushes in 1996 (is it bad that I still have them?). As far as make up, I don't think I purchased a luxury cosmetic until my daughter convinced me to when she was 16 and going to her first prom, that only 12 years ago. I told her I would pay to have her make up done or give her the money to buy whatever make up she wanted. She chose the money for make up and I chose a Lancome blush for myself. From there I moved on to Mac shadows, which I still love today!!!! Oh how times have changed!!
Clinique was my first high-end makeup. I was in my early 20's. Thirty years later, and I still use Clinique - almost exclusively. I have extremely sensitive skin, and Clinique is about the only brand I can use. Like the tip about using bronzer for eye shadow. I actually use the Cheek Pop in Pink Honey for eyeshadow most days. It's also my favorite cheek color. My favorite everyday lip color is the Almost Lipstick in Pink Honey. But, I'm loving your lip color here! Thanks for the video!
Gorgeous! You do a great job at explaining, demonstrating and bring a wonderful blend of drugstore and high end. Would love to hear how you started your business. You have taught me how to do a lighter hand when applying foundation! :)
You're so right, Lisa, about Clinique being the first luxury brand we all started out with. My very first item was a lovely Clinique natural peachy lipstick, followed a couple of years later by a beautiful liquid blush called Black Honey. 🥰
I know that eyeshadow caught you by surprise with its intense pigmentation, but it looks amazing on you! My first high-end cosmetic purchase was from Clinique, and I became a life-long lover of their products. Their "Take the Day Off" products are still the best makeup removers/skin care I've ever used. And now I need to go purchase that lip color, Romanced, because that's gorgeous!
Thanks, Lisa! That blush is gorgeous ❤ I never wear lipstick because I hate having to reapply it all day but that color combo may just be the think that pushes me over the edge onto the wagon.
I’m the same! Everything smears or wears off too soon, so I just have tubes of Burt’s Bees pomegranate balm stashed all over the place! Lol But sharing in case you want to try the elf glossy lip stain (short square black tube). I love it!! Doesn’t smear into my lines, lasts for hours without drying out my lips, and I can get a soft natural matte stain by blotting with a tissue before it sets up. I can finally wear color!
Nostalgic! Clinique was my first high end brand in high school and I remember saving my babysitting money to splurge at the Clinique counter. That green marble packaging is so classic❤
I started with Clinique also. I still buy certain products from them and I always purchase for my nieces, so the next generation keeps the brand alive!
Clinique was my first high-end brand. I remember buying the 3 step program and getting the gift with purchase that included black honey lipstick and a pot of gloss. Enjoy the weekend!
I absolutely love ❤ this makeup look! You look stunning and it makes me want to buy everything you used lol. Thank you for the video , I love everything you put out!
I love their Even Better Foundation, black honey lipstick, chubby sticks, powder pop bronzer and cheek pop blushes. Great quality. The are not a hit with their color selections which is why I think a lot of people don't buy them.
I wish Clinique would come out with new products. I stop at their counter every time im at Ulta, but nothing calls out to me in terms of color / formula offerings for my mature, dark tan skin
This is coming from a genz! But my first high end makeup was from clinique, the black honey lipstick!😅 even though it's not considered high end anymore. ( atleast according to social media these days) And since then i have fallen in love with clinique. My fav from them def has to blackhoney and their masacara! It's the first mascara which didn't irritate my eyes😅(also their baked blushes are awesome)!
Lisa, sorry to say that , I don’t think 2 brown shimmer shadows counts as loud and dramatic, more like barely there and very light. But I did use Clinique as my first makeup and skin care products.
😂 Oh my goodness, memories!! My one and only experience letting a counter rep do my makeup was at age 15 at our small town dept store, and the Bonnie Bell gal totally ignored my warm skin, gold hair and green eyes, using baby pink blush and light blue eye shadow up to my eyebrows, with a stripe of white glitter as highlight!! 😬 Sure, it was 1978, but still…. !! Luckily I knew it was wrong immediately and learned to do my own face quite well as the years passed - and that sure doesn’t include freaking baby blue. LOL
My first non drug store was Merle Norman it was the first day of 7th grade (96’) my parents took me after school so I could learn how to use everything correctly and got me a whole set up skin care and full face products
Lisa , I watched one of your videos yesterday that was very short maybe 15 minutes. You featured L’Oreal infallible fountain and concealer. And a high end very light and neutral eye palette. Now I can’t find it to send to friends… can you help ? 1:44
I have a few City Lips lip products. They turn my lips really red. Now I’m afraid to use them. Is that normal..do your lips turn red after applying? Thank you.
Clinique was the first skincare I ever seriously used. Of course, I migrated onto their makeup after a year or two. My first high end eyeshadow palette was by Estee Lauder - it had a beautiful gold and a gorgeous green. These were the shades I used to create my first cut crease as I diligently followed the instructions in a Barbara Daly makeup book. That lip combo is sooooooooooo pretty 😍 and it looks very moisturising. Lots of love 💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗
Clinique is mostly garbage makeup. Especially their foundation. There are just so many better choices. I wore it for years, thinking it was a decent product. But a Sephora sales rep showed me the light.
Classic look - Clinique never disappoints, and I have 45+ years with Clinique!
My first high end makeup was Clinique. The first items purchased were the 3 step cleansing set. I still love Clinique products!
Clinique and Mary Quant. I miss Clinique, Meadowflower Honey Lipgloss Pot.
Great makeup. Clinique was the first skin care I ever started to use. Like your top, btw. Thank you for the video
I love Clinique! Their soft powder blush in New Clover is my favorite. Also eyeliner, lip liner, eyeshadows and of course Black Honey.
I'm a huge fan of New Clover and also Fig.
Good morning Lisa! Their sunscreen is amazing Superdefense City Block, good stuff! Wore really well under my Dior Glow foundation.
One of my HG now is Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm. The best!
Yes
Thanks for reviewing Clinique. This was my first high end make up brand purchase. I still love their products, but do not hear about the new launches.
Gorgeous gorgeous look. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. ♥️♥️♥️
It was an eye shadow from Estée Lauder in Wild Iris . I’d just got married in1974 and I was 21 and it was a lot of money but I still bought it and loved it..❤
Estee Lauder- Estee perfume was my first in the brand then followed by makeup.

I really like Clinique products. Glad you used several of their makeup products. Not sure why, but I don’t seem them reviewed much.
Clinique 100hr gel & cream, is my fav. Moisturiser Under makeup. Also the superbalanced fiundation- is one you never hear about, & is really good.
Thank you Kalondia!
I love their mascara and bronzer.
Yes! Clinique's mascara is one of my favorites.
I LOVE Clinique. I used to be a Personal Consultant for them and I LOVED that job! Their skincare is so good. ❤
I love Clinique products ❤️
Clinique was my first, too. The other makeup counters were so intimidating!
Clinique was the first high end makeup I wore in high school. My mom made an appointment for me for my first make over snd have the makeup artist teach me how to use the makeup 💄. Then I graduated to lancome. You are so beautiful.
My first beauty products “high end” were actually Clinique 3 steps which I use to this day!

I always keep New Clover and Fig blush.
I tried the mascara primer suggestion, and loved it.
Lisa that lip combo looks fabulous on you. Clinique was my first department store makeup. I had always just used Maybelline and Revlon really. I was in my 30’s back in the 80’s when I ventured out of drugstore.
Clinique High Impact is my favorite. It’s beautiful and works especially well when my eyes are sensitive.
I’ve had so many loves from clinique. Shout out to my bff @ 14 who taught me all about makeup. Her mother bought her Clinique and she shared with me. ❤ also Lisa, I love your love for blush pinks and mauve.. it’s my favorite color too.

Thanks for using Clinique! My first higher end purchase was the Honey blush at age 16! BEAUTIFUL LOOK ON YOU.
Lisa, this is hey gorgeous makeup combo on you. Would like to know which foundation in color you used as well as the color of Mario blush you used.
First Clinique was Black Honey in a little pot, that was in the 70s lol
Same here. Black Honey in the pot. There were some other pot colors I always had.
Haha yes! I had it too!
I love that eyeshadow look on you!! It matches your hair perfectly
Thank you!
I use and love many Clinique products. The lash power mascara is an excellent tubing mascara. I also use their liquid eyeliner, the pop blush in black honey pop which is a beautiful mauve color, and their lipsticks with the hydrating core.

Guerlain terracotta bronzer, Lancôme Definicils mascara and Chanel concealer stick. My first luxury makeup staples I wore for years 😊

❤ Clinique makeup. It was my first high end makeup, so pretty. You gave us such a great look🎉 Ty.
Thank you! :)
My first higher end purchase was the Urban Decay book of shadows volume2. Thanks for another fab video Lisa... love from the UK x
My first makeup was Merle Norman, so I started out with the good stuff.
How did all those products wear? Did they stick around after a full day, or look faded? Love that lip combo too.
Lovely look Lisa thanks 🙏 ❤
Thank you Denise!

Is Black Honey pigmented or sheer? Tks!
I wish Clinique would come out with new products. I stop at their counter every time im at Ulta, but nothing calls out to me in terms of color / formula offerings for my mature, dark tan skin
I think my first purchase was the clinque cleanser.

Hi! It is from LuluLemon. :)
Lisa, sorry to say that , I don’t think 2 brown shimmer shadows counts as loud and dramatic, more like barely there and very light. But I did use Clinique as my first makeup and skin care products.
You are so right! I started out with a vision but detoured a little bit. :)
Gorgeous look!
Gorgeous xx

My first nice makeup was Merle Norman. I don’t even know if they still exist.
I have never had much love or luck with Clinique and I honest don't know why.
I have trouble watching yout videos because i feel like i need everything 😊
I went to Dillards and bought Estée Lauder and felt so grown up 😀
Lisa , I watched one of your videos yesterday that was very short maybe 15 minutes. You featured L’Oreal infallible fountain and concealer. And a high end very light and neutral eye palette. Now I can’t find it to send to friends… can you help ? 1:44

Oh no! They don't do that on me. Sorry to hear that.
Wet n Wild lipsticks 3 for .99 cents. Nail polish was 4 for 1.00
my first high end purchase was a clinique lip stick 😅

To Clinique that’s not a mini palette. Standard size
Clinique is mostly garbage makeup. Especially their foundation. There are just so many better choices. I wore it for years, thinking it was a decent product. But a Sephora sales rep showed me the light.
