As expected Chris. An informative, interesting and fun video to watch. Stunning scenery and so much to see and enjoy.
This is perfect for visitors to the region, it gives them a great heads up on what to see and do. Cheers 🙏
Cheers Bernie, nice collection or collation of what I've done over the last few years. My day trips from Brissy does well, so thought this might add some value to Gold Coast visitors.
Thanks for the comment :)
@@AquariusTraveller You're always welcome. New videos with previously used footage is a good thing. Always new viewers tuning in to UA-cam and they are getting lots of information 👌
@@adventurewithbernie yep... that's why I do them. Adding value for a different crowd 👍👍
Very nice to flow to this Chris. Lovely production!
Hey Mate...thanks for the comment. Simply but to the point colatiom so people can start researching.... they do pretty well on my channel 👍👍
Hi Chris! All look like amazing options but my top 3 would be the Natural Bridge, Elliot Island and King Island 🏝️ The natural bridge looks like such a unique waterfall!
I have a more in depth video comimg up on natural bridge....in the day and night for the glow worms? Have you seen those before?
@@AquariusTraveller never but it’s on our bucket list! I’ve seen videos the caves in NZ and it looks so cool!
@@RichieAndVanessaTravel It's very cool, I've done in New Zealand too, but it's free at a place close to me....Stay tuned :)
If I can only choose only 1, which will be a better choice: Birbie Island or North Stradbroke Island?
Stradbroke Island would be closer to the Gold Coast, but Bribie is easier to get to by car.
I guess it would depend on what kind of transport you have, your budget and what you want to see or do?
@@AquariusTraveller8 of us travelling and we want to have some hiking with scenery and something different as we will be taking this tour from GC.
@@alvinjwales3039 if it's only hiking you want to do, then there are probably cheaper and easier places to get to than the islands!
How much time do you have? Is this for a day trip or are you staying for a few days?
What car are you driving or are you taking tours?
Hiking is available on both Islands but the rainforest areas and waterfalls to see are better in the Gold Coast Hinterland and there are plenty of hiking trails. I've been featuring a few of these in my last uploads to UA-cam if you want to check them out.
Expect to pay 150 to 200 for each car you take to Stradbroke Island, most the standard hiking like blue lake is in the national park and officially needs a 4wd to get there. I have another video on north straddie if you want to get more detail.
Bribie island you can drive a standard car to(and wont require a ferry) but most the hiking spots are in the national park as well. it's such a large area and I've only explored it myself in a 4wd and camping. I have 2 other videos on bribie with the main populated area and beach camping.
I know of organised day tours to straddie, but they come to Brisbane first and it's a very long day when starting from the Gold Coast.
I don't know of any tours to Bribie Island, so this will require your own car.
@@AquariusTraveller I have engaged the services of a tour/travel agency and they highly recommend NS Island for a different experience. We have planned it to be a full day your,7am to 4/5pm.
Thank you for your feedback and have been enjoying your videos.
Cheers
Your welcome and hope you have fun. I do promote day tours on my blog and hope it's similar to the tours i have done.
I love north straddie for the beaches and atmosphere ... 💖💖
