I actually like how Brad does actual reviews. a lot of people will be like "it's good" "it's bad" "his singing is lower than usual" and things like that. Brad does comedy reviews, and notices the small details "the piano adds a lot" and focusing on lyrics. If he didn't have the comedy, I wouldn't watch, if it was just comedy, I wouldn't watch.

Lovely Littlepetshops neon gravestones is the only song on the album I don’t like as well. The lyrics are great. But I don’t like the way the song was created it does not vibe with me at all

Neon Gravestones is about people glorifying suicide instead of life and the public’s reaction to celebrity death. If he gave up and killed himself, he’d get a lot of attention.
It has a really important message and I’d recommend looking at the lyrics again.

I wish he would look more into Neon Gravestones cause I feel like he kinda gets it, but I'm not sure how much he does. He might, but I feel he didn't say so in the video. I feel like it's all about how suicide is so glorified nowadays, how we remember people for their suicide, when that should not be the case. We should remember them for their life and what they have done. And that he won't respect a suicide for attention, and that that's not how you should try to get attention. You can't say that they glorify suicide after this song, or even this album in general, cause it's doing quite the opposite. THIS whole album kinda seems more like feeling better about yourself, and exposing these insecurities that a lot of people have, and that you shouldn't be so affected by them. That's my take on it.
@@BradTasteInMusicOfficial I see, it definitely is different than their other albums for sure, cause they seem a lot more like spoken poetry at times. Im glad you got it though, it just didn't seem like it in the vid unless I missed it. I'm sure you were cutting for time though. It brought out a lot of the negatives in their other albums for me. I've been skipping every Regional At Best song, and self titled for the most part. Vessel I still like and will listen, and I just kinda have my personal reasons for Blurryface. I can see the issues with it though. I just have honestly only listened to top for the longest time, so thats kinda crazy to think about for me. And Smithereens was written for his wife, and there's a few nods in Morph dealing with it too. And if you don't know already, Legend was written for his grandfather. Sorry I typed so much, I always have a lot to say. I really like this style though, so if you have other albums to reccomend for me, I'd be glad cause I've been needing to find something else other than these guys, as much as I like em.

@@namekssjgoku If you haven't already, try Jon Bellion, it's crazy yet beautiful music. I like irobot the best, but he's pretty good. And the way he makes his music is awesome. I know you weren't asking me, but I thought I would help. Especially since I had the same problem trying to find another artist other than TOP that would rattle my heart and make me really think, or at times stop me from thinking. TOP was always my first thing to play when I drove. Their music helped me through some very dark times and I for a long time couldn't listen to anything else. Plus I love poetry and that's what really connected with me. Funny enough my favorites are Ode to sleep, Migraine, Car Radio, neon gravestones, and leave the city. But I've grown to love all of them in some way or another. Oh another is Icon for hire. They really talk about the real instead of love or heartbreak, or anything else that I personally feel is overdone at times. It's why I don't listen to the radio much. Sorry I talk a lot too, but it happened and let me know if you like these.

I found you initially through twenty one pilots - even tho I never enjoyed anything but a few songs from all their past work... But man, when I heard those singles something just changed, and I have to be honest; this album is actually great in my opinion - outside of the singles, songs like Morph, Chlorine, The Hype, Leave the City and Bandito are amazing, though theres not a song that I don't like

Brad. Please listen closely to the lyrics of neon gravestones. The message of the song is fucking amazing. Although i personally don’t like how it was executed please don’t let the lyrics fly over your head. He is talking about how society glorifies suicide. And how whenever someone kills them selves the media begins to suddenly care about the person. He is telling the listener that our society needs to start caring about the people who are alive and are fighting. We should stop making suicide seem like a good option. Yes i understand that the song might not sound the best but please listen to the message

i keep coming back to this video because, as much fun as it is to hear him respectfully rip into my favorite songs that have saved my life, there’s something so much better about hearing their hard work appreciated. i 100% agree that trench just sounds more mature and grown up. the vocals are much better and the production is completely blown out of the water. this album is mind blowingly amazing
That's what one year of hiatus does. With Trench, people respect twenty one pilots even more. Even though they blew up with Blurryface, they took their time to create good music instead of just makinh crappy music to sell out.

i feel like the hype is almost like a hug in a song.. its inspiring and personal but its not in your face or like he’s feeling it with you. its like he’s speaking as someone who’s experienced being low and a Terrible Sight and it’s like a result of the break, blurryface was like he was at the listeners level of feeling down and over the break he got better and now he’s just here for us in a really comforting way but also showing his personal progress

this is definitely my favorite album by them cause there's such a huge storyline to follow along, they even made a whole world, and it's like they're embracing their name for the first time and it makes me so happy, i really never knew they were capable of that :O

I really didn’t think Neon Gravestones was that great the first time I heard it either, but then I saw them in concert and the live performance they gave for the song really helped me to understand it. I really love it now.

7. i feel like neon gravestones honestly is a lot deeper lyrically than you're giving it credit for. i feel like he isn't talking about selling out for more attention; i feel like he's describing suicide, and how it's become a dangerous method of attention seeking in recent years. the show 13 reasons why, for example, in which every psychologist ever will SCREAM that the show describes depression and suicide in the most harmful way possible, but it gets lots of views and extra seasons because of shock value. he's saying that he doesn't want "it" to get glorified, and especially with the music top has released in the past, i feel like this song is a follow up that says "yes, we need to have a rise in awareness that suicidal thoughts and feelings exist and people need help. however, please actually seek help if you're struggling. don't do this to yourself just to make others feel guilty about the way they've treated you. don't do this to yourself period."
