This is so good, takes me back! My father Bill felt built sea star boats, Mach 1 boats and then the mid-90s Envision boats. So I grew up with resin and fiberglass in my blood and boating in my blood. So I can really relate to outer Banks there's a 63 year old veteran now this was just an awesome biopic so to speak. Thank you
Awesome thanks Brian glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching. Your father was involved with some cool boats! There is a 27-foot 1989 Mach 1 boat for sale on Boat Trader right now...wonder if your father built it!
Thanks Marilyn! Reggie is a legend right? And North Carolina has such a diverse, fascinating boat building heritage. We hope to explore more in the Carolinas soon...

You lose a bit of room in the forward cabins, so overall your cabin space may be a bit less yes. But on the flip side it keeps the topsides dry as it deflects the waves as they crash under the bow. Plus it gives the boat more overall buoyancy too...it's very hard to plow the nose into a wave with that flare.

Seeing some more fishing in this series would be great please. But great idea, and nice production.

This series is awesome! Where to next?
Interesting segment about Carolina boats and Carolina flare- does that make the interior cabin smaller?
