just watched it in further and agree and same its mad thats my same remedy...stand back and look before u solder up...simple. well done thats insanely tidy pipework
Nice install man, fresh! Keep the videos coming. Maybe use black clips and overflow when installing the black boilers and white on the white boilers 👍 just an idea
Thanks I’m trying to work out how to increase the pressure bar it’s reading 0.5 I know it’s needs to be at 1.5 bar no idea even after looking at the tricky manual ! Yes I’m a single lady who trying to work out her new boiler !! Any tips appreciated
Hello mate I watched your video, excellent workmanship. I got a worcester 8000 life with a cylinder BUT my cylinder doesn't get to temperature. My boiler flow temp is set at 65 and my cylinder stat is at 65, I can't change the flow temp of the hot water flow temp unless I have a integral diverted kit. Will this solve my issue ?
How did the 8000 compare to the old Highflow? I am in the process of getting quotes to replace our Highflow 400 with the 8000 40KW. Just hope that it will be a good replacement
How do you lower the kw output? I'm struggling to understand the instructions . It a lifestyle system . Heat loss is about 28kw . Have you tried doing the PDHW without the internal diverter ?
I've just got one of these combi boilers.. quick question - when it gets up to temperature, it's not switching itself off - it's constantly on. I would expect to go into circulate mode and stop burning gas like all combi boilers do.. any ideas why?
BOXT just replaced my 23 year old Worcester Bosch combi boiler and through more luck than judgement I have had this exact boiler installed and the quality and simplicity is fantastic. It is a beast at 35 kW. And a 10 year guarantee as well. Got to agree on the pipework, that is a work of art, show house feature.
Good installation mate but does it not annoy you that Worcester have a 45% share in the boxt company so basically whilst your selling and promoting the overpriced Worcester brade by being a WAI Worcester bosch are busy undercutting you by installing dirt cheap boilers through their own sister company boxt. I was a WAI for years but when I discovered what Worcester was up to I quickly moved to another more loyal boiler manufacturer and to be honest I'm making more money now whilst also saving my customers money, you should look into what's really going on. Good luck with your business and channel
Daniel A thanks !! Well I don’t think I’ve been affected as yet by the boxt situation, also a company with installation costs that low can’t last ! It’s been done before and they have failed so it’s only a matter of time before they disappear I believe
@@hartleyheatingandplumbing9801 hopefully but what you've got to remember is that because Worcester own half of the boxt company so they are providing them with boilers at a much lower cost than what we can buy them for (half price) so it's obviously difficult to compete with so if you haven't already have a look on the boxt website and see what you think? The point for me having been a WAI for years only installing Worcester boilers I feel it's a complete stab in the back from Worcester competing against us for the installations. Worcester boiler sales will begin to suffer because Gas engineers will stop installing them in my opinion, anyway all the best and keep up the good work 👍.
Hi Oliver, sorry you don’t like the 8000 what was tiny about it ? I find it quite big as boilers go and a lot of room for working on around the hydraulic block ?
@@hartleyheatingandplumbing9801 tin. the casing feels awful. We fitted 6 in replacement for a warm air system at a Sheffield university office in the city centre. To be honest as a combi and up to 50 odd kw they are plugging a hole between commercial and domestic i suppose that most manufacturers don't cover, large houses need larger boilers or cascades and suppose it makes sense I just think the styling, the case design and that awful built in controller let's it down. It looks and feels cheap. Nothing against your install though. Absolutely beautiful work, love seeing great pipework, far more attention to detail than my big hands could ever muster. Really quality work
Worcester using a back wall plate instead of a frame and that skin slicer manifold jig thing. look at the size of that boiler, massive why. And the weight its just to much, literally. Guy your pipe work is the nuts but you need to get away from that Worcester Sheep thing after all it still has a plate heat exchanger you can't get to and the condense trap looks like it was made for a bus its so large and in the way, then there's dissolving plastic above the diverter valve. As for the casing, about time. Its an addiction thing like those Apple glass broken phones, and waiting outside the shop all night just to have one. You can do better.
Great video and that pipe work was beautiful. Always good to see trades that have pride in their work 👍🏻
paul lyons thanks matey ! Spent a while polishing 😬

Nice install man, fresh! Keep the videos coming. Maybe use black clips and overflow when installing the black boilers and white on the white boilers 👍 just an idea

Excellent what’s your opinion of the 42cdi which I have…….
Nice pipe work 🤩
Nice job mate would hated you to drop that boiler😀
How long did you take wire wooling and polishing those pipes ?😂
Excellent job
Nice video, really tidy pipework! Do you not find you leave flux marks on pipes or you wearing wet gloves all the time?
Bringing videos to another level man amazing job and cant wait to see more 👏🏼👏🏼
Teejay Jenkins Crikey ! Really kind words pal ! Thanks a lot !
Lovley job i found this boiler a bit much heavy/ over engendered i will stick with vaillant or gloworm
How did the 8000 compare to the old Highflow? I am in the process of getting quotes to replace our Highflow 400 with the 8000 40KW. Just hope that it will be a good replacement
Nice pipe work! By any chance did you fit the optional diverter valve?
Agree with the rest great pipe bending what pipe bender do you use?
How do you lower the kw output?
I'm struggling to understand the instructions .
It a lifestyle system .
Heat loss is about 28kw .
Have you tried doing the PDHW without the internal diverter ?
Is the pipe work in same place as the greenstar cdi
Fantastic job mate top marks on pipework did you use polish on copper pipes very nicely done keep up the good work.👍
Devon Rodney thanks matey !! I used a wet then a dry rag and then very fine wire wool with some brasso to finish
love ur work man i do 5 changeovers a week and take pride in my work so to see this pipework is nice.do you use brasso before filling up?
Sometimes after really I’ll use the very fine wire wool then brasso
Nice pipe work. 😳

Top job mate very neat installation I love the pipework ! but not the boiler !!
I personally wouldn’t fit a Worcester Bosch anymore
Keep up the great work , i think it’s time for a new upload

Where is the pressure gauge on the 8000?
It’s digital, it will let you know if the pressure is too high or low
Is this boiler superior to the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i?
Yarp
A guy that can do his job. Makes a change but I wld have done the flue first to be honest.
Does this need a 28mm gas pipe
No, 22mm
Yea nice pictures, But your audio is way in the back of the box, unless the camera is hand held next to you.
Don't box the pipework in. 😳
You are SO damn cute!

Awful boiler tinny horrible dunno what Worcester were thinking. Install on the other hand is really nice
