Great gift for Grandma or anyone else who lives in a small space. 😊
Yes, they make really nice gifts and a great tree for an apartment.
Thank you so very much. I hope to make these for all my Grandchildren
You are so welcome!
Beautiful tree! Wonderful that you donate the proceeds to missions every year!
Thank you!
I'm gonna make these with my seven year old little sister for sure! 🎄✨🎁🍪🥛
That will be a fun project.
God bless you and I pray that you are able to make a lot of money for your church
I appreciate it!
I did this as a child. It was so mich fun! I made them as gifts for my teachers and family. You can do so many different designs. I did one for my band teacher with musical note ornaments.
They really are easy to do and they do make great gifts. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, they look very nice.
Thank you very much!
I used to make these about sixty years ago when I was a young child. My grandmother taught me. I would go from door-to-door and make a killing selling these.
I bet you would make a lot of money. I raised almost $500 selling these.
We also made Christmas wreath Out of coat hangers and crate paper as well. We would decorate them with pinecones ribbons and fake canned spray-on snow.
Thank you for taking the time to record this video, I used to buy these from a co-worker many years ago and i always wanted to learn how to make them, I just love them! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
This looked so cool complete! I can’t wait to make one myself this holiday season. Thanks for the tutorial 👍🏼
Yes I'm very interested in making these trees..I make wreaths and snow flakes so a tree would be nice
Thanks for your tutorial. What a great ministry. Had one someone made in 93 but I like the zip tie method you used. Well done!
I appreciate you watching. Some people use electrical tape, but I think the zip ties are more secure.
Thank u for sharing! I'm gonna make me one!
They are really easy to make. Thank you for watching the video!
Hi thank you for the video am going to try snd make 1 myself now.
You're welcome. I really need to get started on this year's trees. Good luck with yours!
Nice job and so simple..
Thanks. Maybe next time I will work on getting the lighting better.
@@BasementBlus I think one of those fake pine tree garlands would work on the frame too...all kinds of ideas from your video ..thanks again.
I can't see well enough as to how you put together the coat hangers....😩 to bad because it looks great...
I am sorry about that. What you do is face the two hangers side by side with the hook part facing each other. Then you hook the two hooks together and form a triangle out of the hangers and tie them off.
Hard to see the hangers against the dark clothing
When I begin making them this year, I will try to get better lighting. I do apologize for the bad quality.
Pretty
Thank you!
God Bless you...and thanks for the tutorial
You’re welcome 😊 Merry Christmas and God Bless you too!!
Look at you with the arts and crafts.. very cool tony
I was a little hesitant to do it, since it really doesn't have anything to do with my channel, but I had a lot of people asking how they are made. I appreciate you taking the time to comment "Tom".
Floral wire is cheaper than zip ties or garden twist ties than zip ties.
Thank you! I will need to check out Hobby Lobby for that. I appreciate the feedback.
I love these trees, thank you! Merry Christmas, stay well and God bless!
Thank you! You too! Merry Christmas!
Wow great job! They are beautiful!! Merry Christmas!!
Thank you! Merry Christmas!!
Really nice looking trees, Tony! They look professionally made. Good job, happy holidays!
Thank you! Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Wow, great job. I am going to try this out this season.
I hope you find them easy to make. I appreciate the comment!
Thank you for this tutorial and awesome message helping your ministry. Crafted these with my Mom years back and bringing it to my kiddo. Merry Christmas!
You are so welcome! They are a lot of fun to make, if you aren't making 30 of them. 😃
@@BasementBlus I bet LOL!!
So pretty 🎄☺️thank you for sharing ☺️ I'm going to make a few for friends and family 🎄
I appreciate you taking the time to watch. Good luck with your trees!!
Nice job! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Merry Christmas!!
These look great. Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
Just found your video love love love it can't wait to do one thank you so much 😊
You are so welcome! They are really easy to make and will make a nice addition to your holiday décor.
These look great... I will definitely save this one... maybe even give it a try... thanks...
Thanks!! They really are easy to make.
Nice that you do this, but you should do the work on the Table or wear lighter clothes. God bless your work.
Yes, I had a lot of people tell me that, so I recently did an update where I show the process better. It can be located here: ua-cam.com/video/fJTebc-gFiU/v-deo.html
Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
Pretty neat idea!
Thanks, they sell really fast and it is a great way to give back.
Superb ..loved it ..stay blessed
Thank you! You too!
Very creative!
Thanks Scott!
I would use pipe cleaners cut in half also
It might just be me. But I think you put the hangers together so fast I couldn't catch what you did. I watched over and over. I guess when I get the hangers I'll figure it out....lol
I am sorry about that. What you do is face the two hangers side by side with the hook part facing each other. Then you hook the two hooks together and form a triangle out of the hangers and tie them off.
This is just what I was looking for! These look fabulous! What are the length of the lights?
I will have to check on the length of the lights. They are 50 strands.
I am going to start making wired hanger trees for next year and sell them. I just bought the garlands and ornaments today with a good clearance sale. Will two 9 feet long garlands cover the hangers?
Yes, that should be plenty of garland. Good luck with the trees!!
@@BasementBlus Thank you! I hope you had a great Christmas! And have a Happy New Year!
How are you putting the together I can't see. Also if I can't find wire will plastic hangers work? Thanks for the tutorial
I am using little zip ties to hold the hangers together. The same ones I am using to string on the lights. I have seen people use plastic hangers and use hot glue to glue them together.
@@BasementBlus ty
What did you make the smaller ones with?
They are all actually the same size with the same materials. Some may look smaller because of them sitting on the floor.
When you sell your trees maybe you can find family that is really poor and you can help them out. The church has enough money they don’t need money but the families that are really poor need help like food. This is what I would do. All churches are a business Jesus didn’t need these expensive churches to spread his word. Merry Christmas to you and your family god bless you
Can't see how to put the hangers together everything blends together with the dark colors.
I will try to do an updated video here in the next month.
Looks nice 👍 how much do you sell it for?
They usually sell from $10-$20 each. I sell them for church missions, so I let the buyer pay what they wish to donate.
@@BasementBlus WE TAKE OUR TEENS ON A YEARLY TRIP TO EXTREME WINTER JAM IN GATLINBURG TN EACH YEAR AND HAVE TO DO FUNDRAISERS. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PROJECT FOR THAT. I WOULD ALSO LIKE FOR THE TEENS TO MAKE THEM FOR OUR ELDERLY SHUT INS AND OUR LOCAL NURSING HOME AS AN OUTREACH MINISTRY. WHAT A GREAT IDEA. THANK YOU.
How much do you charge
$25.00
I use duct tape instead of zip ties... either will work
I will need to try that method next time. Thanks!
Where do you find those type of hangers?
They are getting very hard to find. I have co-workers who save them up and bring them in for me. You can also purchase on Amazon.
@@BasementBlusYour video was so easy to follow, so I am thinking about giving it a try. My younger sister, who is in her 50s (ouch) remembered that our mom used to have a couple of them. My mother never really was into Christmas decorating so she would pull out her little ceramic tree and coat hanger tree.
@@marthahumphrey3849 Thanks for sharing. My goal was to make it easy and to show that anyone can make the wire hanger trees.
You can buy them at walmart online
How much do you sell them for?
Hi Janelle. Depending on the tree size and the ornaments used, I sell for $15-$20. People have generally been okay with that price range.
Could you please show how you put the hangers together more clearly. That was hard to follow for me.
Hi Carol. I will try to do a better video here soon, but until then, maybe this person's video may be clearer: ua-cam.com/video/5mMDQ9vqSPQ/v-deo.html
I cant see what you are doing
I am sorry about the poor lighting.
Look complicated i still cant fig how u doing the hanger you doing way to fast and it very dark in your room
Sorry about the poor lighting.
