- Hey there! Have you ever wanted to sell on redbubble? Do you have a shop and feel like you're not gaining any sales? In today's video I'm talking all about how I've had success on Redbubble, and how you can get started and increase your sales!
I've been on Redbubble for two years now, and I've definitely learned a WHOLE LOT about how it works and how you can gain attention. If you want more redbubble tips please let me know!
One thing I forgot to mention: having my "breakout" design REALLY helped me expand. I just made one design that absolutely went nuts. You CAN do this as well, just make sure you're posting absolutely as many designs as possible.

am I the only one who doesn't mind about whether I am making much money or not? I just get soooo happy when someone buys something with something that has my design on it
Some advice- put a lot of designs out for Christmas!! People are looking for gifts. My greatest earnings come is November, december, and January. My largest check was for $96. Great vid!

Good advice all around! I would add that if your design looks too small on large items like throw blankets and scarves, use the "repeat" option so that it tiles your design across the whole product.

Good job! You are starting early and having success already. I'm in my thirties and a full time freelance graphic designer and you have made more than me on the platform. :P I've been "dabbling" but over time I've noticed an uptick in sales. Lisa Irby is great! I started a second "niche" shop at the end of 2019 and have made sales much faster in the new shop. I now make about $20 a month combined from my two shops. Keep these videos coming. I love watching how other people do Redbubble.

I've actually got a question now that I think about it!! Just your opinion really, but I've been wanting to sell some designs of mine too but I'm still minor with no bank account, and I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to add some of my designs to her page as well? Make them into a collection? Our art styles are SO very different but I do believe SOMEONE could be interest in them!! Should I make my own page when I'm able or would it be ok to include my own designs in her page?

I think it depends on the situation, I'm not sure of a concrete answer! Personally, I'd want to have my own page. Even if you don't have a bank account all the funds from your earnings can go to your mom, and then she can give you your money. But it's up to you!

Hey Mazie great video .It's more realistic than a Guru with a rented Ferrari. I felt the same after 1 month on Redbubble ,I made $ 1.36 with only 10 designs at the time. Long way to a Ferrari but I'm having fun with it.

@@siklopclothing9339 Slow I have made about $20 and only have about 50 designs. This business is all about having a large amount of designs or finding a Niche that is not saturated. It only cost me time so I keep putting designs up to see if I find that combination the starts moving.

Yessss! thank you for being honest. It does take a long time and it doesn't pay off too well to follow the trends so it is best to make content that is authentic, and expressive in your own way. Also, promote, promote, promote on your social medias. Consistency is key too. I recently started gaining sales ( which took me longer to get too), and the extra $ is beneficial to me as for putting back into the processes of producing and sharing. When you upload, I suggest that you align the design on each product ( it is time consuming, but the layout matters in a way of how you display your design more neatly). Great vid! she explained everything clearly and provided proof. Goodluck and happy creating ya'll.

This is actually good advice, I tried going for the "trends" and I wasn't seeing success. Then I started uploading stuff I was into, as soon as I did that, I got a sale withing 1 day.

@@keily6861 sure! consistency is key! I try to list 5-10 items a day (I know that’s not doable for everyone). Also, if you’re selling on a platform where you can send offers, be sure to leave room for negotiation, and send offers! use descriptive keywords in titles/descriptions, and communicate with buyers! if you’re on poshmark, be sure to share your closet at least once or twice a day.
@@essmab2568 not lying lol. I just moved, so I’m not making quite as much now, but I was making about $1,200 a month. now I’m just doing closer to $900, but once I get settled, it’ll go back up. I’m gonna start selling on more platforms, so I’m hoping to reach six figures before I go to college!

I’m a bit confused. i’m trying to upload stickers for my shop. But when I press “add new work” (i use my ipad for redbubble) all it does is say ‘Page 404 not found’ Any ideas what’s happening?
the server might have crashed from so many people using it (it should be fixed soon)💗
If you put it on desktop mode it's gonna work
Try to change it to desktop mode ( it's in the three dots thing on the top)
Our team has had similar issues with iPad. I believe the fix was changing it to desktop mode.

hey I love how you explain and try to concentrate only the main thing unlike others😅 so the thing is I started my redbubble shop a month ago and I've made 10 designs ik they're not that much but I tried my best to upload good design but I didn't get any sales yet why though am I doing something wrong.. I used 15 to 20 or more tags relevant ones actually but didn't get any sales😓

@@nicola7296 yes you should start a one coz It doesn't take any money from you totally recommended if you belong from usa and Australia you've to link your bank account but if you're from somewhere else you need a paypal account I'm from india so I've linked my PayPal account... it's totally free first you've to create a seller account then fill in your details after that upload your design on the site they'll print it on the products.. super easy isn't it.. then when someone buy yours products you'll get a commission.. you don't have to worry about the products or shipping it'll be managed by redbubble
tips: use 15 0r 20 relevant tags when you upload your work it helps your product to get attention

@@JamezJN007 Not to me. I can't stand Sarah. Good content but the criticism is totally unnecessary. Some of us work VERY hard at this and other ventures. Being a successful entrepreneur is a combination of natural talent and instinct coupled with luck. You may be able to acquire the knowledge from a very patient and generous mentor but for most of us it is a lot of sweat, tears, trial and error or simply blind passion.
Ultimately, your emotional reactions spring from within. I find inspiration when I learn from her (WT) freely shared, knowledge-packed tutorials. The view is always better from the high road.

Ive actually sold a couple bigger things like the comforters ots really nice cause the money from those is significantly more. Redouble is a side thought for me, my profile is my art and my random designs so I'm not sure if thats hurting me. But people buy more of my random designs than my actual art so 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I've thought about separating into two shops
Im curious... What kind of design was on your comforter? As in, was it a repetitive pattern (e.g. polka dots) or is it a specific picture/drawing? There are some items I can't imagine someone buying from my designs such as leggings, comforters, skirts, etc. T shirts seem to be the best

I want to do stickers with transparent backround and when i upload the picture it doesnt like , take off the transparent u know it doesnt change
Hi! You have to make the background transparent in whatever software you use, and then save the image as a png. Redbubble won't remove the background for you.

Idk where you live but you could work at McDonald’s. Whatever minimum wage is there, you can make enough money to pay for your dog. If you already have a job, you could use your emergency fund. If you don’t have an emergency fund, consider this a lesson to keep a savings.

Keep going! It takes some time for the algorithm to work on you. Best you can do is keep uploading new work and use tags properly (avoid spam and use keywords).

Mia Gabriel I’m not 100% percent sure, but I think she creates the designs digitally then uploads them to red bubble. Whenever you get a sale, part of the money goes to the website, which provides the materials such as sticker paper or any merchandise that’s being bought like hats, mugs or shirts.
Hey! Just so you know it takes a LONGGG time to see real money, so I wouldn't go into it thinking you're going to be able to make a salary or anything. It's a fun creative outlet! And don't worry about it, there's no harm in trying!
when you’re selling on redbubble do you actually have to make the sticker or merchandise or are you just selling your design and redbubble makes the merch for the customer
All you do is upload the design and Redbubble handles the production and distribution!

Michkeyrra Chandler once you have your shop set up you click “add new work” under manage portfolio and import the design. Then you customize all the product info ☺️
