- Does the LeoVince slip on change the fuel range that I get on my Ninja 400? Would I recommend this exhaust to people who are looking to buy one? Today we answer these questions!
Hey there! If you don't know me I'm Kwackajack and I ride a 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 on the Gold Coast, Australia. Earlier this year I shared my fuel range and mileage that I get from the bike with the stock exhaust, but since then have upgraded to a LeoVince LV10 slip on. So today we are gonna be discussing if I've seen a difference in the range I receive with the bike after putting it on.
I also provide a brief review of the exhaust on the bike and let you hear what this exhaust sounds like.

I put on a Akrapovic full system, no cat, on my z650. It opened it up heaps, a lot quicker, loader sound. Then put on a O2 delete plug, and runs way smoother at lower speeds, less snatchy throttle.
Interesting to see change in range, but worth it that exhaust sounds amazing 😁 good video

Am I in my head thinking it's too loud? Like piss people off loud? This is the first bike i've swapped the stock exhaust out. Only had it for a couple days so I'm still getting used to it

I'm not sure about if it's 'technically' legal here.. but I've never had any issues. As far as I'm aware unless you're driving like a loon, most cops won't care or even know

Nah, its not a forever bike for me so I'm not going to be modding it too much. Thats what the next bike is for...

I just put my slip on on to my 400 the other week and loving the sound of it now, did you take the baffle out of your slip on?

There was no baffle in mine, it’s a straight pipe :)
i got the Musarri street gp, mine had a baffle but i took that out haha.

@@Kwackajack when putting on the leovince slip-on exhaust do you need to get a power commander to tune it for it to not run lean?

Even the stock burbles around 2-1 gear when coming from high speeds.

leovince site is doing deals atm. LV 10 for around 360 with free delivery. Backed up orders though
Did you get a tune after putting the exhaust on ?
Nah, I didn’t really see any point. It might boost my power by a couple of horses and maybe help with the range, but I can’t see it making a huge difference on a low cc bike. If I was keeping the 400 for a long time I would
@@Kwackajack yeah fair enough could make a decent difference though bike might be running lean now I'm not 100% but might be worth looking into 🤷♂️
For sure, especially if I was keeping this bike for a longer period of time!
I’ll be looking to upgrade next year though so not much point for me :)

@@Kwackajack i just bought 2021 ninja 400 krt yesterday bt whenever i am on freeway i feel like bike is shaking from back tyre when i am on 100
