2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Big Horn 6.7 Cummins turbo diesel, and automatic transmission. Truck is sitting right at 185k miles, and in excellent condition all around! In the last month, Ive done a front suspension service, with all new suspension, 3in leveling kit with shocks, Alignment, 4in mbrp exhaust, new 20x12 Ion 141 Wheels, and 33in Amp M/T tires. The truck also has a FASS Fuel system, Titan 52 gallon fuel tank, AFE Cold air intake, full EGR and DPF Delete with single tow tune and trans tune, tinted windows, Katzkin Leather interior, B&W turnover ball, Bed liner, new black housing headlights and led tail lights. After doing all these modifications in the last week of Feb, I then took the truck on a trip to Dallas TX, pulling 16,000 lbs from the gooseneck hitch. 1400 miles round trip, truck never got hot on coolant or trans, pulled like a dream. Truck is from Alabama originally and has no rust on the cab corners, rockers, or bed. Now please keep in mind, it does have 185k and gets used, so its not showroom condition, does have little rock chips, small dings, little dent in the tailgate, but nothing too horrible. This is a very nice truck, with a lot of expensive modifications, please no low ball offers, or trades, just selling cash or check outright, no financing. Get the trans hot make sure it shifts good. Also check the oil cap for blow by after getting it warm
must smash it around mine even deleted with a tune gets 17.7 mpg
How reliable is this specific year with the 6.7?
Im the market on buying a diesel truck after getting my 06 f250 6.0 crashed.
They are reliable as any other diesel, the majority of quality usually comes down to condition. You need to look out for blow by and trans issues. If they are tuned they can run through headgasket pretty easily.
