The Grand Piano of basses!
The Super P is an instant classic.
Very transparent and versatile, and the B has tons of presence!!! Great work Sheldon!!!
Been a minute but thanks everyone...great bass made by a great builder!
i just bought one and this is by far the best P bass on the market.
i have to pinch myself how awesome it is.
pure joy to play and hear.
The best sounding P-bass ever!!
Brilliant bass, brilliant player! Mitch Starkman is the consumate bassist. He's a monster player and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
A great in the pocket player...............DRUMMERS LOVE THESE GUYS!.............plus great tone
Sounds and looks GREAT Sheldon! Another winner! :)
it sounds fantastic and looks even better! indeed a super-p!
Never heard of Mitch Starkman before, but DAMN he's funky.
I agree, exactly. classic Pbass tone down low, does sounds a little active,. but that sounds good to me.
that B string sounds sick,too.
It stills sounds like a precision, down to the B! Great sounding bass. (What can I sell? Damn)
Mitch starkman! Legend
A little Stanley Clarke there at the end? Great playing and a fantastic bass.
Has it got the usual 32" - 35" scale ? I would love that one but WITH the Jazz pickup at the neck. You know like Fender crossed their Precision and Jazz basses, and called them JP or Deluxe or something.
IMHO, P is P, and D is D, they have their own characteristics. Love D anyway.
I don't know why most of Dingwall players are darkglassy saturatory 100% velocity picky djenty. I mean it's cool and it sounds great but man those basses sounds incredibly good when it's given subtle grooves too.
that growl...
Anyone know the song that starts at 3:31 and finishes the video? Love it !
Sure do! Dune Tune - Level 42. One of my favs to play in a harmonic sense :)
Is the bass strung with stainless or nickel wounds?
Monster burp!!!!!
That LPB P-bass in a girl's hands looks like a Mike Lull.
Great Dingwall, btw ;p
Awesome tone! It's almost too punchy.
Sounds pretty good but I'm not hearing the massive improvement over other basses people claim. Sorry, I'm just not. I don't dislike it! Just... don't understand why this is better than many other instruments out there.
pick ups always seem to be right where I finger them
I would move the pickups forward and one back
Doesn't sound like a Fender Precision Bass to me. Sounds like one of those strange exensive copies. Get a Fender Precision Bass. That'll sound like one.

Agree too much Grindy nasally belch tones. Now everyone has Nollys tone in every mix
I was handed a Fender P style bass ... so I thought to play groove🙂( and a bit more). It was a great bass and I had never owned a fanned fret bass so see how easy it was to adjust.

wow finally a p bass that sounds like a p bass should sound ... p bass tone even in the E and B strings ...
