      Hello!
      I am from the city of Khimki in the Moscow region, the country is Russia. I've been watching you for more than 1 year. Soon I will also buy a jeep wrangler rubicon and travel across Russia to Taiga and Baikal.

  • @randalltom9750
    @randalltom9750 3 роки тому

    Trails like these can be tricky, and for most rigs, a stopper. Wranglers have the articulation, and applied torque to the tires. The way the weight shifts to firmly planted tread, gets you up and over... nice job driving, both of you!
    One day, you’ll run into clay that’ll ball up on your tread, pack in the wheel wells and undercarriage, and the only thing you can do is park it til it dries out a day or two. Clay so slick, clingy, and greasy, all you have is a winch (my nightmare). Then the rocks will seem easy. Great video, safe travels.

    Fun video, thanks for posting your adventures. Driving question, were you using 4L with front & rear lockers engaged and sway bar disconnected when struggling up that rocky hill? Driving my Wrangler Rubicon, I have no hesitations about using "everything" to negotiate rough terrain. BTW, my opinion is life will never return to what it was before this pandemic, though it won't be like a zombie apocalypse as in The Walking Dead, hehe. Keep on Jeepin'.

    • @EFRT
      @EFRT  4 роки тому +1

      Pro Blu - we used everything on Worsley the Rubicon a lot of the time just because it’s there. You’ll notice it had no problem on any of the obstacles. Vandi Doesn’t have as many options but with Caroline’s skilled driving she was able to navigate the obstacles quite nicely as well.
      We are hoping most of life goes back to normal after this. The only difference is hopefully will all be smarter because of it.

    My wife and I are thinking of getting into overlanding we've had dog's for many many year's we love to camp and was wondering, being from Toronto what is it like to travel full time with a dog and is crossing the Mexican boarder the same as the Canada U.S. boarder

    • @EFRT
      @EFRT  4 роки тому +1

      We love travelling with our dog. He is a great traveller and quite the adventurer.
      Here’s a video of our first year with Lando.
      ua-cam.com/video/KreMGp2NS04/v-deo.html
      We didn’t have our dog when we crossed into Mexico but someone in our group did and they had no problem.
      Other than that the Mexican border crossing is similar to the Canada US border.
      Of course right now nobody’s crossing unless it’s essential. 👍🏻

      @krasnaludek298 4 роки тому +1

      James Merritt As a 20+ year Jeeper that has traveled Europe & North America; my two cents ...
      Mexico: You really have to do your homework on the Regions, because there are cartel issues & other dangerous areas strewn throughout the country. Right now; you should be able to go straight down the Baja Peninsula w/o drama as a pristine Oceanside route.
      The USA by contrast is safe outside of a handful of Urban (inner-city) clusters. From Toronto, you could head West and down through Montana, Idaho, Nevada-Oregon, & California (where I live). Just avoid L.A. traffic & filth, then you’re good. Stops in Yellowstone & Yosemite.
      Last, no need to dump a ton of money into a rig. Start modest because truck stops & stores will have what you need along the way. The main question is how you want to spend your nights - sleeping in a camper, back of truck, or hotel to start.

      Adam Schmits - We have been very impressed with these Patagonia MTs so far. After all the trails and beach driving we hit the highway on our way north for 1900 miles/3000 km and we found the tires to be very quiet and very easy driving. We have an appointment to get them rotated this week on both jeeps, just to make sure they wear evenly.
      So far we are very impressed with them.
      Hope that helps.

    Would a jl rubicon with 35s and a 2.5inch lift be able to make the trail? Would it be better if bigger tires were used?

      Richard Acosta - You could do it no problem. Vandi has 35s and with Caroline driving, was able to navigate the trail quite nicely. Have fun and hope to see you out there one day.

      Rubicon with 35s and 2.5 inch lift will do that easy. My rig is a Infiniti QX80 stock with 35s and I believe I can do that easy peasy. That should he an easy trail for your Rubicon.

    Grace is the only thing against which the devil has no defense. If you are living by your self-effort to earn God's approval, the devil has power over you because he can always point to something that you have not done. This gives him dominion over you. If you claim God's protection and healing based on what you have done, the devil, who is a master accuser, just has to point to one of your failures, and all your faith implodes. You will disqualify yourself mentally and inwardly from receiving whatever you might be trusting the Lord for.
    But grace qualifies us for protection. Because Jesus paid the price, we who are in Him have a right to walk in divine health and protection. When the devil accuses you, saying, "How dare you believe God for protection, when you are (he goes on to list your failures)," you just have to point to Jesus' blood, which has paid for all your failures. With grace as your basis, the God of peace can reign over your fearsand impart to you unshakable faith for His protection!
    Something else happens when you understand His grace-you will also grow in your understanding of how perfectly loved you are by your Father in heaven. God so loved you and me, He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross on our behalf, carrying all our sins upon His own body so that today, we can come boldly to His throne of grace. He did it so that today, we are not as sheep without a shepherd, but we are so deeply loved and cared for by our Abba Father. We are His children and when we call on Him, He WILL answer. We have a God who demonstrated His love for us while we were still sinners-when we had nothing to offer Him but our brokenness, our shame, our sins, and our disqualifications! Oh what perfect love!
    The Word of God says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he whofears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us" (1 John 4:18-19, boldface mine). Are you fearful today? Ask yourself this question: Do you know how much God loves you? You see, you can't reason away fear. But when you have a revelation of His perfect love for you, every fear in your life will be cast out. To the extent that you understand His love for you, you will live fearlessly in dangerous times!
    43All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”
    The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit
    (Acts 19:1-7)
    44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message. 45All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God.
    Then Peter said, 47“Can anyone withhold the water to baptize these people? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have!” 48So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.

    The Holy Spirit at Pentecost
    (Genesis 11:1-9; Leviticus 23:15-22)
    1When the day of Pentecosta came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
    5Now there were dwellingb in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.
    7Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,c 10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome, 11both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs-we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
    12Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
    13But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
    Peter Addresses the Crowd
    (Psalm 16:1-11; Joel 2:28-32)
    14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words. 15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!d 16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
    17‘In the last days, God says,
    I will pour out My Spirit on all people.
    Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
    your young men will see visions,
    your old men will dream dreams.
    18Even on My menservants and maidservants
    I will pour out My Spirit in those days,
    and they will prophesy.
    19I will show wonders in the heavens above
    and signs on the earth below,
    blood and fire and billows of smoke.
    20The sun will be turned to darkness,
    and the moon to blood,
    before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
    21And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
    will be saved.’e
    22Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know. 23He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross. 24But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches.
    25David says about Him:
    ‘I sawf the Lord always before me;
    because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
    26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will dwell in hope,
    27because You will not abandon my soul to Hades,
    nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.
    28You have made known to me the paths of life;
    You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’g
    29Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.h 31Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay. 32God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.
    33Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says:
    ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
    “Sit at My right hand
    35until I make Your enemies
    a footstool for Your feet.”’i
    36Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”
    Three Thousand Believe
    37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
    38Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off-to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
    40With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.” 41Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.j
    The Fellowship of Believers
    (Acts 4:32-37)
    42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43A sense of awek came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
    44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
    46With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courtsl and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
