i'm not normally a fan of a villain who is all cocky until moments before death then they start begging for their life, but you know what? in Langston's case I was happy to see him beg before he died

The papers dubbed him the "Mark Twain Killer", but after they found out it was Clemens, they decided to give him a pass, because everyone loved his nutty stories.
@@quesoblanco444the part about the meaning of the term is true, but not the second part about how he chose his pen name. He was a riverboat pilot, and 12 feet was the minimum safe depth for a riverboat.
Nobody since Arnold has been this tough. Reacher has a little extra though. In a way, he makes it all more believable. This guy is a great actor...period!😊😊😊
That guy just can't catch a break. First, Tony Soprano takes over his sporting goods store and puts him out of business, now he gets pushed off a chopper.
Absolutely love this series. Season 1 was great and enjoyed Season 2 as well. However, I have to say, him hanging from a helicopter holding up a woman strapped to a gurney is just, well, goofy.
So many missed opportunities for funny one-liners here. Reacher dragging Langston towards the rear of the helicopter: "Just remember, Langston, when you pass over Saint Louis, be sure to wave..." Langston: "Wait, wait, they promised me I could come back for Season Threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...."
"What happend to Langston?" "I let him go." I liked this but it was a bit over the top for an otherwise well-grounded series. This was almost "Commando" style antics.
I love the way Reacher fights and the way he keeps his composure I don't think anyone can stand up to him I like fight where he takes care of the dog I also like the one in jail where the gang members try to abuse of his room mate and it was in a bucket now everyone wants to be Reacher but there's only one and also when he helps the lady that's withdrawing money at the end he says someone that doesn't want to get involved 😊
Cargo bay already open, how does a bullet to the front screen cause any more stability issue with the helicopter!? That was as bad as finding fully unset liquid concrete in the middle of the night in the building site.
The big guy held on to a landing gear of a helicopter and pulled himself up into a hatch at god only knows how many thousands of feet... And THAT's the point you stick on?
Whoa nice knife shot at 2:02. I did not see that one coming. But then neither did the henchman. He could have killed them both if not for monologuing, he just could not shut up. I learned that from "Syndrome" from the Incredibles. "You caught me monologuing" Played by the voice of "Jason Lee" ( My Name is Earl ).
Love the show. Great scene - BUT… Was I the only one who thought “If I were Langston, I’d grab one of Reacher’s feet, have the goon grab the other, and just slide him out of the helicopter”?
Why does shooting a single shot through the heli windshield - not taking out the windshield, just putting a hole thru it - suddenly cause the heli to start to go out of control?

But I still don't know why Robert Patrick's character is called Langston when in the book he's called Lamaison?? 🤔
The show jumped the shark so much in this scene that I honestly don't know how they'll ever get down. I'll still give the next season a shot but this was unforgivable
@@fredflintstone3956 What for, don't you have eyes? But yes, it looks ridiculous and unbelievable, and like the characters are wearing the thickest Plot Armour they were for this whole season. The bad guys are behaving like idiots and it looks like a comic book scene.
This scene was such a let down. Langston had been so brutal to Reacher's team. He even cut off stark's finger and cut out his eye before killing him. There were so many ways Reacher could have tortured Langston as payback before throwing him out. A totally missed opportunity for the show to give Reacher payback. Sure he ended up with the money but payback was what he wanted.
That's what makes Reacher such a compelling character. He doesn't give the enemy ANY chance to escape once he has them. Like when they gunned down AB in the engineers living room. He goes off on his diatribe and Reacher and the SI Team just open fire. Reacher told Langston he was going to throw him out of a helicopter... and he did...
@@DMDvideo10 I agree with everything you said. And I'm not saying Reacher shouldn't have thrown him from the helicopter like he promised Langston he would do. I'm saying Langston should have had a couple broken legs like the bikers in Boston and a missing finger and eyeball like Snow. And maybe strapped to a gurney like his other two SI's. If Langston was the Bond villain they made him out to be, I half expected him to have a parachute hidden under his trench coat.
For all the people complaining that the season was terrible I have the red books and it’s just not matching up. Or are they just expecting something else?
More than anything I think they're just complaining for the sake of it. The complaints I see are people wanting this scene to be overly realistic which is silly it's fiction. Granted I haven't read this book in the series so I don't know how faithful season 2 is to Bad Luck And Trouble. I know season 1 changed a few things from Killing Floor like giving Kliner two sons instead of one.
all wrong,,, you're supposed to plant his feet on the very edge lean him over then grab him by the tie and question him while loosening and then tightening your grip on the tie until you come to the very end. Then as he gives you the truth you begin to pull him to safety and go OOPS and let him go.
They were not high enough that a bullet thru the windshield would cause performance degradation for the copter, it wasnt going to suffer decompression since the back door was already open. Bad script writing for this scene.
Just hope the 3rd season will be much better than 2nd which was seriously disappointing after 1 which was incredible, like so many series the writing , plot etc just didn’t work.
I don't think I ever was more satisfied to see someone get thrown out of a helicopter when Reacher gave Langston his send off.
