In this video, I tell you about the main painkillers available in France for self-medication.
These products are both prescribed with a prescription from your doctor. But they can also be dispensed as advice medication by your pharmacist.
Doliprane, Efferalgan and Daflagan all consist of the same active ingredient: Acetaminophen.
This molecule is the drug most used in France to relieve mild to moderate pain.
These drugs are therefore equivalent to each other. Only the presentation, that is to say the dosage form, changes.
Different presentations are therefore available in your pharmacy to meet the needs of each patient.
But be careful, paracetamol, whatever its presentation, remains a drug with contraindications and precautions for use.
It is particularly toxic to the liver in the event of a large dose.
