    I've got the 590 and am struggling to see many differences between them. Very handy for these rough surface projects.

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  2 роки тому +1

      😁 Hi James. I think the only difference is the 590 can deliver slightly more paint per hour and I think it also has a bit more motor speed control. But the 575 is more than enough for me (I'll probably only use it a couple of times a year). But I am really impressed with it so far 😁. Thanks for watching James 😁👍

    I usually paint my fence by hand. This year I will be using my hvlp paint sprayer that tilswall sent me to review. I did try it on one panel & can say I will never use a brush again. So much quicker

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  2 роки тому

      😁 It is so so much quicker (apart from the extra time it takes to make the video 🤣😂). I will be using it again soon to paint my shed... all I need to do is build it first 🤣. I guess a brush is better for hard to reach places but I'm now a big fan of spraying 😁. Thanks for watching Dave 😁👍

    Great video Frank. I have a long fence to spray and have a hand pumped bottle sprayer but this has made me think twice. Cheers!

      😁 Wagner do a few different types of sprayer. I think they are all based on the same design so I imagine that even the cheaper options are still great. After the initial time taken to mask up, the actual spray time is just so so quick. And cleanup is really easy. I should have got one ages ago. Thanks for watching Ben 😁👍

    What is a fence paint? A water based paint?

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  6 місяців тому +1

      😁hi Ziyad, yes, the fence paint i have used is a water based paint. So if needed it can be thinned with water. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 😁👍

    brilliant video - the manufacturers should be paying the likes of you to do this stuff because they are not very good at it themselves, there should be a QR code on the side of the box straight to this video

      @SeosamhMacUaid 😃 Thanks for your kind words 😊. But I'm afraid I don't get a single penny from them. But it's a nice bit of free advertising for them. It's a great product so I don't mind doing it. But it means I also had to buy the sprayer in the first place and take the chance it was OK.. lucky for me, I love it 😆. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    I was wondering if a primer can be used in it

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  Рік тому +1

      😁 Hi Danielle, I personally haven't used primer in it yet. But I can see no reason why you couldn't use it. As long as you get the viscosity of the primer right I imagine it would spray quite well. I will try it, but probably not until the summer. I have some water based MDF primer I will use. Thanks for watching Danielle 😁👍

      Thank you so very much for messaging back.fi you know if it's safe to use thinners to clean out the gun as you use water in your video

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  Рік тому +1

      @@daniellebishop5673 Hi Danielle. I have only ever used water based paints, so cleaning with soapy water works well. I would be very cautious using any solvent based paints that would need thinners etc for cleaning. I think Wagner only reccomend using cleaning materials with a relatively high flash point (above 38 degrees C i think). So personally I would use my other spray guns and compressor for that type of spraying. Probably worth a visit to the Wagner website to get some more detailed info rather than risking braking the sprayer. I hope that helps 😁👍

      🤔 Thats not good... I guess you have checked the nozzle for any restrictions 🤔. So I would probably return it immediately and get a replacment. Even straight out of the box it should spray really well. Please keep us posted if you have any luck. Thanks for watching Anastasia 😁👍
