I'm undergoing a very difficult withdrawal and every minute feels excruciating. This is helping me to relax,take my mind off the physical discomfort. However, I feel so sad , I wasn't able to stay normal like other human beings and went to imprison myself in an opioid addiction cycle. I feel am way too gone. God help me.

Release the chains of addiction from yourself now and remind yourself of the person you truly are and who you plan and will become. Life isn’t over for you and you’re not too far gone. I have been in your shoes bro, I had my share of unbelievably horrific alcoholism and God knows how many times I screwed up.
I feel you and I'm sure you tried desperately to get over it, but simply after all you can't live without the substance.
It feels awful to be disconnect from the people, and it feels even worse when you know you can't be normal like them, enjoying the little things, like an ice cream or any other silly matter... I know!
But here's the thing, simply the human brain is self-healing, just don't give up on it, it's just a matter of time until the chemicals in your brain balance, and that's a FACT! And if you want numbers it's between 3-6 months.
I'm trying to be brief; in the beginning it's hard and agony, but then after a while you will eat better and start to sleep better, you will be rebalancing yourself and your life.
Just hang on and be patient, life will be back again 😊
