@@LuckyPed10 They had to develop the infrastructure for paid mods to even be a thing in the first place. Payment systems had to be put into place, etc. So your blatant excuses don't hold water.

@@Kalisha2401The game doesn't auto save nor save when you exit to main menu. Even the console command for saving doesn't work some of the time, and you don't know if it did work unless you exit the game and go back in to check. All this on series X, at least.

I think it's really telling that the two premium mods coming from two modders who now work for studio wild card. I see studio Wildcard and snail games greed all over this. Those are perfect timing to soften us up before the center map release with the optional paid package.

I have always been pro Ark. Always buying DLCs and preorders. What happened to the good old Ark community, where we all played and people modded because of their love of the game. Then you have the options like I did with eco and to help support them. This was just announced premium paid mods. We haven't even received our first free map yet. After purchasing ASA when a lot of people were very skeptical and then the promise is made and the first thing that comes to us is cost. Time will tell but there must be a big problem behind the scenes.
@@GaiaDanny so many questions then. What happens if a mod is abandoned or not worked on anymore? If it was to be unlisted on curse do people get a refund. I mean what's to say any mod paid for will be around long term?
4 days i couldnt log onto my singleplayer save. I had to uninstall the game and reinstall it for it to work again. And I lost the save too.
I've had to do that twice now by some miracle I was able to get my saved data back but it took literal days to unfuck the progress I did loose and it was a lot

Hmmm im not sure how i feel about svartalfheim being a paid mod. I imagine the version currently available will stay free which is good but it feels like we essentially beta tested this map just for it to have a premium version with all the extra content we actually wanted, and arguably expected, to come for free

I make some modules to sell in some eCommerce marketplace and I sell it for 130$ only to get around 70$ out of it but that does not even include tax, after I request for it to be moved to my Credit Card it become even less due to tax and other shit... so I am basically barely getting 50% of the money lol

Play Fulgar instead. Way better. Like 75% better. THIS map felt dead and empty. Fulgar feels alive and interesting. Plus there's no broken dragon flock on the beach and other random broken shit experiences.
how's the optimisation going so that it can actually run decently?
Can't wait to pay for a 2nd 20 slot server so that me and my 2 friends can switch between maps. Also can't wait for The Center and Scorched Earth to arrive so that we'll have to pay for 4 20 slot servers as 3 players. 80€ a MONTH well spend 👍

nah. we want to keep our buildings and the main reason to visit other maps would be to get the exclusives like the gigantoraptor. but that is only possible with a cluster, which would mean we have to pay for another server. if we could split our 20 slots into 2 10 slots server, everything would be fine, but 20 slots is the minimum natrados shitty service offers@@_Ryano

Thats what hes saying renting multiple maps multiple servers an clustering dod you read his comment you have to pay monthly for every map/server regardless if its clustered or not an that's price for 20 slot which is minimum your aloud to have shocker and some ppl have multiple of same maps and pve and pvp in there cluster an have huge groups so 100 slots x12 maps for pve 12 for pvp your gonna be payong like 3k month to play a broken bug mess of a game if the game doesnt break then nitrado servers will spazz out so really youll get 75% of the run time you pay for and 25% will he server crashes restart loops where you literally cant join your own server or stop it from stopping and restarting loop i had mine in that loop for 3 days even nitrado couldn't fix it I rented year run time when asa dropped ive used server for 30 hours since then because it's broken an nitrado can't or won't fix it so then you add in the charge for paid mods if you want to use any and then add in wildcard new dlc fluff packs your gonna need 2nd and 3rd job to funnel enough cash into this game to even survive an still put food on the table lol there isnt a method left out where they could charge you more money there doing everything they can to dip in your pockets not to mention the price of servers from ase to asa are triple the price so the 12 maps you had on ase well you get 4 now an not 50 slots like before youll get 20 for same price the 1year run time I bought for asa wouod have got me 3 servers for less on ase I also had option to rent server for ark with like 5 different server hosts now it's 1 server using your steam or nitrado that's it @alexdurain3753

Fix the save bug.
Not only is the game early access, it's literally deleting people's save data and character data. People have lost hundreds of hours of progress because of these bugs.

April 1st (not a joke) is the current planned release date for Scorched. Center is coming out later this month with Gigantoraptor.

you make things up without fixing the bugs first, your servers are still bad, your videos always show nice images, but in reality the image quality is seriously bad. By the way, that always means postponing and postponing everything, with all your promises. delays. First fix your current game so that it runs well and then come up with new things.
Fundamental WC behaviour, they have got zero sense of what it means to polish something. They don't understand that fixing problems correctly, early as you're going, will save so many more problems compounding down the line.
With UE5 they had the perfect opportunity to fix meshing and collision mechanics from the ground up but apparently they did nothing but hit "import all" and put new skins on items. Funnily enough, collisions and hitboxes are worse than ever 😂

Nekatus grinded on Valguero, Fjordur and now this map. That dedication, the timely releases and their communication is really valuable to me. They're bringing nice RPG elements into the world. It's just great to see that kind of passion. Map is absolutely worth the price and shouldn't be included under the umbrella of the other issues.

Yea they created more spam on Pve. The cryo change is COMPLETELY pointless especially on Pve. They made the game harder for no reason. More spam means the servers lag more they have no damn Brain at wildcard just low life cash grabbing scrubs
A shame that nitrado and snail games transformed a great game into cash grab. Still a good game, but i fear, asa is never going to be as good as ase.

Never ever personally playing for mods. Mods are designed and created by the player for the player and should always be free.
Donate to the mod developer if you are feeling generous but paying for a mod? I don't think so. No mod is good enough to be paid for. Not unless it becomes a DLC for the game itself supported by Wildcard themselves.

Yeah can we focus less on Nekatus and his Ideas and focus on Essentials, Nekatus is a great modder great map designer…but will I pay for a map I can’t even FORCE mass fliers to…AFTER…I paid….. never gonna happen even gen 1 you could force flyers into the map. Idk but not why I left this. Where’s the center lol
