I think you said "If you could design your life the way you design homes, you could have a stinkin' wonderful life" or something to that effect. In truth, that is exactly what you have been doing all along. Every step of the journey is intrinsically a part of the whole journey. You are a product of every step you have ever taken. That includes all the steps that didn't lead you where you thought they would go. Your marriage may no longer be a part of where you are going or who you are sharing life with, but it is certainly a part of you that has led you to the success you now have. Hang in there! So touched by your candidness about your life changes. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like this after 40 years of marriage. Despite how wounded and devastated you may feel now after dealing with such a life change, you WILL rise above it and succeed and prosper I truly believe this. Almost 9 years ago my husband/bestfriend/soulmate died suddenly from a brain aneurysm and I was lost and never thought I'd be strong enough to make it through such a devastating and painful loss and it took me quite a while to walk through it but I am still here and that loss, pain, and grief taught me just how strong of a woman I really am. I am just now watching this and omg...two days before Christmas 2019, I found out that my husband had been unfaithful....after 30 years of marriage. I had to stop this video and just be still for a moment....even though we are still together at the moment, I like you, still don’t know what to think and am numb...still numb. It changes your whole being. The person you were before no longer exists. My heart just feels such a sorrow for you. I am sorry you had to go through this.😘

So many times I felt like I know you, and that you are the type of person that could be my friend. The style, designs, the strive for perfection-everything makes you being my role-model when it comes to design. So, learning what actually happened in your life actually left me speechless (and me being speechless happens almost never), really sad and kind of heartbroken. We all know that God works in His special ways, sometimes they hurt, sometimes they are harsh, but they are always with a reason. My guess is that you are too good to be chained to a person that doesn't deserve you, appreciate you and respect you, that is why God gave you your wings back. You have so many blessings in your life, wonderful children, grandchildren, insane talents, health, good looks... Just say a big "thank you" to the Guy upstairs. Been there done that. 21 years and three kids later my husband left me for another woman but I jumped out of my mud puddle wiped my self off and walked straight toward my future. After some time, she found a wonderful man and were married for 15 years when she passed from breast cancer. He was the very best. He took such wonderful care of her when she became so ill..Her former husband would never taken care of her. I hope you are beginning to heal and that you asked “What would Becki do and go for it!!! I think you said "If you could design your life the way you design homes, you could have a stinkin' wonderful life" or something to that effect. In truth, that is exactly what you have been doing all along. Every step of the journey is intrinsically a part of the whole journey. You are a product of every step you have ever taken. That includes all the steps that didn't lead you where you thought they would go. Your marriage may no longer be a part of where you are going or who you are sharing life with, but it is certainly a part of you that has led you to the success you now have. Hang in there! You are doing great things. Your exuberance and love for life with continue to carry you forward...as you say, the sky is the limit!

So touched by your candidness about your life changes. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like this after 40 years of marriage.
Despite how wounded and devastated you may feel now after dealing with such a life change, you WILL rise above it and succeed and prosper I truly believe this.
Almost 9 years ago my husband/bestfriend/soulmate died suddenly from a brain aneurysm and I was lost and never thought I'd be strong enough to make it through such a devastating and painful loss and it took me quite a while to walk through it but I am still here and that loss, pain, and grief taught me just how strong of a woman I really am.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and I will pray for you to continue your walk forward in the days ahead.

I was one of the people that kept asking about when are you coming back to UA-cam. But can I suggest something’s you used to do that I loved. 1. Going shopping with u for your projects. 2. Showing installation 3. Of course your finished projects 4. Maybe a beginning conversation with clients if they allow. 4. Your decisions of your choices... all would be great!

You Go Girl...I totally understand your pain. Happened to me 3 1/2 years ago. I wear a bracelet everyday that says "the best is yet to come" and believe me when I say things are falling into place. I am just now watching this and omg...two days before Christmas 2019, I found out that my husband had been unfaithful....after 30 years of marriage. I had to stop this video and just be still for a moment....even though we are still together at the moment, I like you, still don’t know what to think and am numb...still numb. It changes your whole being. The person you were before no longer exists. My heart just feels such a sorrow for you. I am sorry you had to go through this.😘

So many times I felt like I know you, and that you are the type of person that could be my friend. The style, designs, the strive for perfection-everything makes you being my role-model when it comes to design. So, learning what actually happened in your life actually left me speechless (and me being speechless happens almost never), really sad and kind of heartbroken.
We all know that God works in His special ways, sometimes they hurt, sometimes they are harsh, but they are always with a reason. My guess is that you are too good to be chained to a person that doesn't deserve you, appreciate you and respect you, that is why God gave you your wings back.
You have so many blessings in your life, wonderful children, grandchildren, insane talents, health, good looks... Just say a big "thank you" to the Guy upstairs. In time the pain will go away, and your house will be home once again full fo love, laughter and lovely family.

Been there done that. 21 years and three kids later my husband left me for another woman but I jumped out of my mud puddle wiped my self off and walked straight toward my future. The 15 years since my divorce have been bliss. (I was terrified though) You are gonna be great the world is your oyster. Keep that beautiful talented chin up and go get em! Oh Rebecca! I cried when you choked while sharing your heart breaking news. It hit so close to home. I am married to a wonderful man but my sister was devastated when she found out her husband had been unfaithful for many years with many women. After some time, she found a wonderful man and were married for 15 years when she passed from breast cancer. He was the very best. He took such wonderful care of her when she became so ill..Her former husband would never taken care of her.
