The singer is Saudi, but I'm not sure if the audience consists of Saudis. Since the concert was in Kuwait, maybe many are locals, especially the ladies. I think Saudi women would wear hijab at least, if not niqab, still nowadays, even if IMHO freedom doesn't depend on this detail. Saudi Arabia is more free and modern now, but still different from other countries in the area.

@@akbarnicolas4047thank you. I didn't mean restrictions but let's say the tradition or habit when going out. I am travelling a lot and in Europe, Arabic countries and Golf states most women with niqab I met were from Saudi Arabia. Maybe it depends also on their age, how they are used to dress.
