What's the mechanism for disposal of the brine byproduct? What's the plan for long term maintenance?

Dont really know, but I suppose it could be placed in long shallow ? plastic basins in the sun and you get ?? super salt ???after it dries.
I would not let it sink into the ground from where they get the salt water to make fresh water.

It will dry fast, and give salt, in the sun as it is already concentrated. I hope they dont pump it into the Indian ocean nearby.

@@smysore2 Brine water actually dries much slower than normal clean water due to the reduction in the water vapor pressure at the water surface.
