Not going to lie, this was a really outstanding gameplay trailer for a newcomer character. I like Victor already. The Paris stage looked absolutely beautiful including the background view.
I can see now why this game has taken so long to release. This the most passion filled fighting game I've seen since Street fighter 4. Thanks Bandai. Edit: I haven't made a mistake not mentioning street fighter 6. I hate that game. Its borderline soulless and it is built for players that are too lazy to learn what Street fighter actually is.
Oh, this stage theme is FIRE. It’s gotta be composed by whomever did “Lonesome City Jazz Party” from Tekken 7. The vibe and production style is so similar.
From what I see apart from the obvious pistol, he has 2 knives one curved blade the other a survival knife. He has a special katana that seems to be locked (his glove might be the key) because it only unlocks when he puts his hand on it and the moment he lets go the sheath's locking mechanism activates. The katana itself also seems to be powered by some sort of force field technology that charges using the sheath (explains why he doesn't just use his katana all the time it needs to recharge). His suit might be how he teleports and his gloves might be able to absorb/release kinetic energy aside from being the key to unlocking his power katana. His earpieces/glasses might be a computer assistant of some kind, acting like a smartphone without needing to be held.
When those horns came on in the intro...chills up the spine. Tekken trying to rival KOF Iori's Saxophone themes.👏 His gameplay is nuts. Can't wait to see how he interacts with Lili & Yoshimitsu.
I was absolutely thrilled to see my main character, Raven, back in action. Raven has been my primary character since Tekken 5, and I've never had a second character. I dedicated six years to mastering Tekken 7 with Master Raven, despite the character's relative weakness in that game. So, you can imagine my excitement when Raven returned to Tekken 8. I want kuni as dlc
I hope they do the same with Negan. Swinging a bat at people is so fun
what? through Kunimitsu? they were both in the same game, how could they preserve something when they're both in the same game? did you mean to say that they are preserving both Noctis and Kunimitsu's playstyles through Victor? cause that'd make more sense
@@yalldumb2387 we dont know if kuni gonna be in tekken 8.

There's something about the way he uses his gun and his knife that screams CQC. I also like how his sword looks straight out of Metal Gear Rising. lol
something else is rising and it's not the gear

This man is literally a futuristic *John Wick* , he's even holding his gun in the same manner as him. I love how they equipped him with technologically advance eyegear. Namco is really going all out with this game. 😊.
Nah, this is Vincent, Tom Cruise's character from the movie Collateral.
@@bruce_leon1044 Except he has the swagger of 007 Peirce Brosnan, John Wick battle tactics, and some of Ravens moves thrown in.
Dude are you serious this CHARACTER IS BASICLY FRENCE NOCTUS, and thus should be removed from this game.
...how many ways are there to hold a gun? Would it be funnier if he held it sideways?
I instantly thought of John wick + Raven with some dashes of kunimitsu or noctis
This stage is amazing. More stages like this in game is needed good lighting and good parallax bump mapping, lumen ambient shadows.

Victor looks like a really nice addition to the roster! I guess he's kind of a replacement to Noctis in this game. Also, the fact the stage is a boat moving constantly with a banger soundtrack instantly makes it my favorite stage!
There was a fishing boat stage like this in tekken tag 2!!
it seems to me like more of a master raven thing
but yeah ik he has multiple weapons and stuff mcgruff
This is easily the best reveal trailer for any Tekken character ever.
Cap. Drippy DVJ was more hype than this.
Azucena's reveal at EVO would like a word with you

@Ritsu362 Somehow, some way the tekken sound team always presents techno, electronica, dubstep, etc, in a way that's not cringy. Didgerhythm from T4 still holds a special place in my heart.
@@sean_image Yeah T4 has some memorable hits; mines is Authentic Sky though.
I love everything about this character. Him being a suave frenchman, his weapons, hiss stage and OST, his gameplay. Yeah Tekken 8 made him and Azu favorites. Cant wait for heichachi's daughter.
And don't forget the rivalry with Raven.
Does Chevalier remind anyone else of Noctis? Uses multiple weapons, has a cool afterimage effect, and even the hit and sound effect looks like noctis's too
It does give noctis T7 vibes
That was my first thought too. Like the devs liked Noctis but knew he wasn't coming back so created their own version
Victor is definitely filling in the role noctis had.
Noctis afterimage were delivered better than his. Too flashy in my opinion.

Victor's voice actor is Vincent Casel? WOW. That's awesome.

Man its always tekken, first notes gives you the feels, a few seconds later and you're banging ur head.
The composer is possibly taku inoue, the guy who did lonesome city jazz party
That cruise ship looks beautiful! So that means the last one remaining is Heihachi Mishima's daughter, Reina Mishima.
There's no reason for her to be Mishima like Lars is Alexandersson.
Great observations!
The pure, unabashed anime of this series is something to be cherished, and bless Vincent Cassel for joining in the fun.

However, this new and incredibly powerful character has caught my eye, and I'm considering making it my second main.
He's the founder of Raven Force apparently, so it would suit your tastes with him being Raven's big boss.
Well, he looks powerful. However, I’d wait until the game releases or an open beta test that involves him.
I was so happy to see him again… I hope Bruce Irvin will come back too
i’m sure you’ll enjoy him but sorry where is this “master raven relative weakness” that you speak of?? that character flew under the radar for sooo long
