I saw her performance on the Sinbad HBO Summer Jam Special and at that time I had only heard of Stephanie Mills. May have heard something on the radio, didn't pay much attention. After seeing and listening to her on the special I was just mesmerized by her voice and stage presence. I felt just the same way that Philip Bailey did when he came out at the end of Home when he bowed down to her in adulation. I wish they would bring out that special one more time so that I could relive that moment.

Just amazing! I agree with Yvette Elmore atop.... She is someone that should be on American Idol... Perhaps, they should come up with an "Old Skool Idol" that way some of these seasoned entertainers would get their deserving moment to shine. Tack Gladys Knight on to that too.... and many from all of the great groups...

You know one can forget just how great Stephanie Mills really is. I mean....damn, I'm trying to think if I ever heard anyone sing like this.....I don't think I have. She goes right through you and comes back around and again.......I know she is probably tired of singing, but I really wish she comes back on the charts again.
