- Hey Guys! Thanks for taking the time to watch this new shootout,
Just to clarify, we wanted to approach this demo a little different in that, we were aiming for similar, but not exact tones. We wanted to come close using gear that was very similar, and see which sounds made most sense to you the listener.
With that in mind, which one did you prefer? Did you notice any discrepancies when pickups or attack was changed? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments, (we always respond to comments and messages) and start a dialogue with fellow iridium users!
This time, all of the A's were the iridium, and all of the B's were amps!

Excellent demo. Love the comparison-especially done this way where I didn't know which was which until the end. Is there a difference...yes, but... both of each option were great tones and I couldn't identify which was tube vs iridium. It wasn't like one tone was obviously not tube, they were just slightly different but great usable tones. I like you that you said you enjoy practicing on the iridium-that's exactly why I am thinking of getting one. Seems a great option for being able to just dial in a tone and go, and use with my pedal board. I like the simplicity but while delivering great tones.

Great video, I can hear a subtle but noticeable difference with the Fender and Vox, definitely noticeable with the Marshall. I preferred the Iridium in the past video but now I think although it does sound good, it does not quite match overdriven amps, it would be interesting to see how it handles more distortion. I´m definitely keeping my Iridium as it is a very usefull and powerfull tool to carry the sound of amps I could neither afford nor carry to a gig even with the drawbacks that would come from this...
WE ACTUALLY did a high gain with 7 string, baritone and drop guitar! stay tuned!
