    It's still just a Ribeye that they charge you more for the extra bone.

    The biggest mistake that people make in steak is trying to cook it lean the marble of fat is what makes ribeye so good and tender I prefer rare stale which is the most tender we have been cooking on the BBQ grill all my life. NY strips or ribeye is the best

    In the U.S. most casual restaurants have steak sauce available if you ask. Usually A1 or Heinz 57. Higher end restaurants typically offer other sauces like Creamy Peppercorn, Red Wine sauce or Chimichurri.

    That substance in the mashed potatoes is most likely the peels. We don’t peel potatoes in casual steakhouses over here.

    Born and raised in Texas. Nothing better than a big fat nasty ribeye steak. Texas Roadhouse is the best. Sometime you'll have to try the 72 oz. Steak challenge at the Big Texan in Amarillo Tx

    If you're going to eat a tomahawk steak, you might as well eat it caveman style. Great video.

    It's not Chicken fried steak without gravy. You should always pour the gravy over the steak.

    Mid rare is the way to go, in my opinion. Not everybody is comfortable or used to meat done under well, but completely changes the experience.

    Did you know technically that you both were eating the same thing. A tomahawk is a ribeye with the bone still attached, though a bone gives extra flavor.😃

  • @seamoreplant
    @seamoreplant 13 днів тому

    Pretty sure they sous vide and reverse sear that tomahawk steak! If it was strictly broiled or grilled it would have a 1/4 inch of grey meat right under the sear then medium rare meat in the center.

  • @santamanone
    @santamanone 11 днів тому +1

    If you’re in Texas that unique taste is probably because the steak was cooked over mesquite smoke.

    The color of that tomahawk steak looks to be medium or even well done , which most people would say is NOT the way to have your steak cooked . I saw no pink at all in it .
