Every time I see a 917K I am amazed by how beautiful it is, how great the cooling fan looks in the rear deck, and how wide the rear tires are. For me, and many others of my generation, the 917 in all its guises will always be the ultimate race car. Given Steve McQueen ownership and LeMans film provenance, this is likely going to be a $20,000,000+ sale. Looks like it's time to double my weekly lotto ticket purchases!
Did any real Bullitt Mustangs ever make it to auction 🤔This 917 will be a wild auction item😱
Wait until you see a girl naked!
You’re going to loose your shit!
I'm a model builder. I was waiting almost 50 years for this. A model company in France, IXO Collections came out with a 1/8 scale Steve McQueen Porsche 917recently. I couldn't get the parts fast enough. When I finished it, I still walk by my model shelf and look at the nastiest looking race car of all time. And it's 54 years old!!! I still remember going to Riverside Raceway in So Cal to watch the 917 Porsche "Panzer" blow away the competition in the Can-Am Series.
The ultimate badass car, right next to bullit.
nice car 🚘🚗🚘
If I had waist full of money to spend on that I would buy it put snow tires on it and drive it in the winter only
HA, you would not make it 2 blocks.
Waistful of money?
I remember my first 🍺👍
