I like how the pregame vindicates my opinion that "You'll Never Walk Alone" will get you amped up whether you're a Liverpool fan or not (and I'm a Chelsea fan). But for real, happy birthday Thogdad! There's something very special about taking a loved one to see your (or, in this case, their) team play for the first time. I'm also an NYC FC fan and I took my girlfriend to the game against Toronto FC on Saturday...and we won 2-1! First win of the season! And a moment like that feels even better when there's someone you love to share it with.
