Brought tears to my eyes! I lost my dad in September 2018 when he had two months left to celebrate his 92nd Birthday. He was a Dementia patient for about 7 years prior. I left my job only to look after him and mother. God bless all aged parents with kind, patient and compassionate children.
Madam sir. Great u made this.... It's really hard to see our own parents who raised us start forgetting us... Really it's need a lot even to do little... And it means a lot even if little is done..
Really emotional.... fabulous acting...nirupama ji and Shivan ji....this is indeed a dangerous disease....it is equally disturbing for the family members as it is for the person enduring it...lots of strength to the people suffering from dimentia/ Alzheimer's and their family members supporting them throughout
It brought goosebumps to me... Recently my mother has early symptoms of dementia.... I can't imagine this stage for her... May God fill every heart with love n sympathy to protect these elderly people..... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Please read my response posted just few moments ago. I know what goes thru d person who faces such situations. Please heed my advice, its my own experiment in life & won victory as d ones who made fun of me are surprised at this turnaround situations. Believe me!
My mother is Dimentia/alzheimer patient .She is 82 years. I am the only child to her.She has forgotten me.She is staying with me.Continously she is talking talking, asking for food and telling me to call her daughter. It is very heart touching when your parents don't recognise you.
Nirupama ji .. Aapki acting... You exceeded yourself this time ❤️❤️ Many, many regards. I always feel that you deserve much more. May God bless you with good health and happiness always ❤️🙏 Also, best wishes to Shivan. You are an asset to this channel 👍🙂
My mom suffered almost 8 years from Parkinson's/ dementia. My youngest bro and bhabhi are doctors so she was very well taken care of. And thanks to our close knit family, all other brothers -bhabhis, nephews used to keep coming to be by her side from time to time. This made her feel loved and care for ....we lost her in nov 2020..... Till the end she was not left alone for even a single hour.. even my little daughter knew how to give her company and manage her food and other necessities.... whosoever used to come home , relatives or friends, used to talk to her about things closer to her heart tho at times she used to bear a complete blank expression not knowing who the person was or what's going on around her.. but we know she knew we all loved her and she was precious for us all....
THE BEST video. i connected to it so much... Beautifully showed how things should be around an Alzheimer's patient . Beautiful. , Heart touching. couldn't stop my tears...
It is very heart touching story when I saw this video I can’t stop my tears we should respect to our parents , whatever we are today is because of our parents

This short film on dementia came as a surprise and the title whetted my curiosity to view it right away. Emotional...realistic...Good message to all of us who have old parents at home who are having some memory loss and entering 1st stage of dementia... both actors surpassed themselves and complimented each other in making this story a success. I lost my mom few days ago...I still love her loads n cry for her sudden unexpected loss and I wish that all children care for their mom dad. I never let her feel that she is useless and always showered her with gifts at every opportunity for her heart ♥ to b n stay happy. Today she is not with me... I miss her terribly... I am lonely and there's no mom to check my pimples and tell me I need a head massage or look worn out... there's only my tears 😭. So take care of Yr mom dad while u can while they r here....love n cherish them n make unique memories with them which will give u z strength 💪 to keep going as life gets tough without them their wisdom n witty words...
God bless you with all the strength to bear with your loss...she'll be blessing you from wherever she is today...you were a good daughter...stay blessed always ❤️
My heart goes out to the LIFE TAK team...what excellent vision & work...such an excellent output without much words...straight to the heart !! Take a bow 🙌
My Dad has Alzheimers. My mother struggles more because it is always more difficult for the caregiver. I too shifted back to India from US to support my Mom. Beautifully made film.
I know very well how it feels as my father was a dementia patient .He left me in 2016. I love my baba a lot. Give love to all those who give their everything for making us who we are now
I don't know wht people see in this video but I was seeing a mom and his son like mom take care his son at his childhood son have to be responsible to his mother at her old age.. this channel never disappointed us.. 👍😍
My Father had parkinsons disorder, and partial dimnatia. It's heart breaking to see him in that condition, in confused state of mind don't know what happened some times ago, forgetting the recent past n beautiful memories of life.Very hard for all of us.
It is really hard and tough for family members to even accept the reality. For them the outside appearnace being the same as before, most of the family members take this change as "purposeful acting" to get attention. Very very sad development in one's life, indeed. And now-a-days the breaking family patterns makes it harder for old age parents to cope up with their own failing health as well as failing family help, family love and family support.
My fathers had also Parkinson disease and partial.dementia. It was very tough to see him in that situation .Main problem is that in dis era of modern science, no treatment of this..
