Very informative class and thank you so much. I am experiencing a problem when I zoom in on my chart, the candles are huge in size that it sometimes can’t get a good picture. Is the a settings to correct the issue?
You might want to customize your timeframes on the thinkorswim desktop platform. It is simple to create 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year time frame which makes 'zooming' in easy. (Click on the 'D', at the bottom of the drop down menu is 'customize list'.) ^Barb
I am so anxious to start trading but so scared as well. I have been following Cameron and have reviewed his lessons, but until two years ago I used a typewriter and a dial-up phone. The platforms are like Greek to me. Further, we (my wife and I) only have about $50 at the end of each month to spare which we deposited into our TOS account and want to get out of the poor rabbit hole but are a little afraid to lose our $50, so do you suggest we start paper trading first with, maybe, forex or stocks instead of options which are hard to understand.
If you are new to investing, I would absolutely recommend starting with the paperMoney thinkorswim trading platform where you can learn without putting your $$$$ at risk. If you are interested in learning more about options, you might want to check out the Getting Started with Options webcast series: ua-cam.com/play/PL8a6s5nq1lPRcGlhhMLSqx1BK1rttI00R.html&si=Lpt0xhqqp4nA5oSY. Perhaps hit refresh when you go back to view it in the archives and pause the recording. Hopefully that will work. ^Barb
Oh Yes, I should have thought of that. Senior moment. Thanks@@tradertalkswebcasts
10 % of what. Bid or Ask
Either one will work. ^Barb
