Dom Solanke was on target again for AFC Bournemouth in a tough tussle with the Toffees at Dean Court, once again showing Gareth Southgate on what he is missing out on.
The strikers 16th goal of the season came before a last ten minutes full of fumbles, with Neto's howler nearly giving Everton the points before Seamus Coleman netted an own-goal to seal the fate of the visitors in injury time.

I guess it was a match with nothing to write home about … given that in the editing Sam decided to keep his loo trip in the vlog 😂
I was also a bit bored in the first half. I know Tyler Adams was all over the place but middle was not controlled. Very end to end. Luckily for me, Spurs were entertainingly showing the many ways you can nearly score a goal.
Surely it is time, with us safe, to take Neto out of the starting line up. He is good for an occasional save per game, several kicks carried out as if he is wearing a dodgy pair of Crocs he bought at Bournemouth pier, but he makes too many mistakes.
There is a reason why we haven’t kept a clean in about a dozen games on the trot. Give Travs a run in the side so he can show what he can do and dispel whatever doubts there are about him which prevent him being the Number 1.

If Gareth is going to have a look at Dom he might want to cast an eye Lewis Collins. Phillips is having a mare at West Ham, Lew is versatile being able to play all midfield roles and pretty tidy at right back. We need versatility with players for such a tournament. Just my thoughts.

We need to learn from the lacklustre end to last season. NOBODY should even contemplate a visit to the Beach, until the final whistle of the FINAL GAME!
We are on course for our highest ever points tally, Dom is looking to be the highest Cherry Premier League Goal scorer, Iraola hasn’t even completed one season in the English/World top flight, so there is still everything to play for!
Let’s put all these ‘Bournemouth aren’t good/big enough for the Prem’ stories!
Bill Foley has a dream and a plan to take us to Europe, so the squad need to stay focused!
We could attain 10th place, let’s see this as our goal..And Dom to score more goals than anyone else!

Not defending Neto, but Pickford didn't cover himself in glory - he was as much to blame for the own goal as Coleman. Pleased we won - it was never going to be a classic when you are playing against Dycheball.
Pickford, England No.1.. Hardly a Euro 2024 Winners performance. Both GK's were poor IMO
Knew the game would be scrappy and we couldn’t impose ourselves first half - awful Dyche-Ball football from Everton .
But we didn’t allow ourselves to get frustrated with the endless free kicks and faux injuries…
No communication between Neto and Meps for their goal , it happened a couple of times ….
We’ll take the lucky winner though ! We’d have lost a game like that 1-0 before ….
