    Nathan Chen is really a once-in-a-generation skater being the only skater to land 5 types of quads and 6 quads in a program, revolutionising men skating forever. He always sets the high standards and skated the most difficult technical content, breaking the world records in short program, free program and combined total while earning him 3-time Worlds Champion and Olympics Champion at just a young age of 22. He dominated the sports with the longest winning streak in history with 14 competitions. GOAT and LEGEND indeed! Kudos to Mama Chen for raising such an incredible person as well!

      Agree 100 %, sporeKAfan. Nathan was and IS the best. He left the sport undefeated. He has all the WR and no one has even come close to his results. He raised the bar so much and changed the sport. He did it all without feminine ornaments, feathers and sequins.
      By the way, I love his simplicity and masculinity.... :)

      @@mrl6956 How much ignorante you have. Nathan is an excellent athlete, but his simpleton style and his jokeless rags don' t help him, he laks glamour. I think you still have a lot to see, for example, of Yuzuru in programs where he looks extremely manly and sexy without neglecting the glamour that an ice skating show needs. A matter of styles, and for something, Yuzuru sweeps the preference of public around the World, over any other skater, some many People in the World cannot be wrong. Nathan has said in many interviews that Yuzuru is one of the Best in the World in skating history and that he respects and admires him. Nathan was labeled homophobic for slipping on some words before the Olympics and his mistake cost him dearly, also for rejecting his Chinese roots the public does not forgive. Yuzuru takes care of his words, he manages his public image excellently.

      "don;t help him" ? Don't help Nathan ? What are you writing about, man? Does Nathan need help ? I love Chen's manly style and phenomenal skills and I just wrote about it. I am an old man and have been watching figure skating since childhood and you tell me what to watch ?! I remember Danzer, Napela, Curry and many other, but in these decades, I have never been more impressed by any skater than Chen.
      I am glad that he abandoned this sport undefeated and even no one came close to his results in Beijing.

      Just because Nathan isn't your favorite doesn't mean I'm ignorant, man. Why is it any wonder that I admire Chen so much?
      Nathan Chen has had the highest place in the last 4 seasons - ISU World Standing 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22.
      Besides Chen has the highest winning percentage in competitions in the modern era and the longest win streak in history.

I.give a standing ovation to Nathan Chen's mom who took to the ice rink for the past few years. Nathan's mom should a gold medal 🥇.

    That's a great achievement, champ! So happy and proud of him. Not only did he revolutionize figure skating by pushing the technical boundary of the sport with his excellence and consistent quads, he's the first Asian-American man in history to win an Olympic gold in his sport. That's quite significant. His dominance for 4 consecutive years is unheard of in the modern era, and his work ethic, perseverance, how he handles pressure, and the way he carries himself as a person are all so inspirational. Total legend.

True story: My parents both say that I never said a word until I was two, and then I was just instantly talking in complete sentences. My mom think I was actually speaking words and sentences before, but they were so fast no one could understand. Lol! Should have been Yuzuru Hanyu first

    • @sporeKAfan
      @sporeKAfan 2 роки тому +25

      Why is fanyu so rude? This video is on Nathan's achievement. Hanyu cannot be first because he cannot do difficult quads and quints like 4Lz, 4F, 4A and 5T like younger skaters and he always makes mistakes in every performance like underrotations, misses or pops jumps, step out, rough landings or falls.

    • @monde9570
      @monde9570 2 роки тому +1

      @@sporeKAfan Hanyu is a household name and is actually popular well known around the world. Chen isn't, and that's the "qualification" to be known as one of the influential people out their. Nathan lacks skating skills, transition and artistry, all thinks that Hanyu has. No one has landed a ratified quint yet, Nathan doesn't have a 4A and Hanyu had the 4 lutz. It just shows that Times can be bought and is therefore only for americans which is a shame

    • @sporeKAfan
      @sporeKAfan 2 роки тому +20

      @@monde9570 Nathan is actually popular around the world and definitely influential since a lot of young skaters look up to him as a role model because he is the first and only skater to land 5 types of quads and 6 quads in a program. Hanyu doesn't qualify as influential because he hasn't done much for the sports except to jump the first 4Lo. Outside of skating, nobody knows him and he is not a household name at all lol. Nathan has much better skating skills, transitions, artistry than Hanyu as he scores the highest PCS. Nathan also has the highest TES and is much more superior in technique. Hanyu cannot do 4Lz, 4F, 4A which is why he lost to even younger skaters. Even his other easier quads and 3A have also regressed because he practises 4A. Nathan has already landed 4A and 5T in practice. Nobody has tried quint in competition yet as ISU has not added BV of quints. He is also kind enough to let Hanyu land 4A since poor girl is so desperate for media attention but too bad llia Malinin has already landed 4A in practice and will be doing it in competition this season. Also, it is not true that TIME features only Americans. They just felt that Hanyu is not good enough to be featured because he really hasn't done much for the sports and used to be overscored for many years doing only 2 to 3 quads of lower BV. He also copied his girlie skating style and costume from legendary Johnny Weir back when he was criticised for no artistry during Patrick Chan's time.

      Why do you care about Nathan so much? Don’t waste on statistics and step on others, just focus on supporting your idol, and respecting all other athletes, your tweet is offensive and does not make sense at all. It only ruined Hanyu’s image.
