Hey thanks for taking the time to film the event. I am going to London MCM Comic-Con this year. I was wondering if you saw many Toy Stalls like the one at the 19:13 point in your video. If you did what were the stalls called ?
Thanks 🙏🏻 for watching! Yeah there will definitely be toy stalls there! Usually around 10 plus stall of toys, a few comic booths and plenty of gaming stalls and the odd DVD/Blu-ray stalls. Oh and I noticed a lot more Pokémon trading card stalls too. It’s definitely worth the experience. I also end up spending too much money. It gets really hot in there too. But an amazing day with great atmosphere and people.
@@ScottsRetroCollectables @Scott's Comics and Collectables i didn't think it was as good as years past, but I took my 5 and 9 year old with me,it was there first CCon,they loved it,had a chat with the boys at Mema studios, really nice guys, they said you had been in on the Friday and picked up a few bits,I didn't pick anything up from them, the kids had fleeced me by then lol.
@@Disneydan864 glad they enjoyed it. It definitely can become expensive. To be fair I usually go with quite a bit of money. But held back, glad I did because it’s easy to spend up there. 4 hrs I spent there went so quickly. The one con I absolutely loved was New York comic con which was my first American con and it was crazy busy but so much to do and see, plus you get to see New York City too. I done a week over there. Hopefully go again one day.
Hi Scott Thanks for the Tour. I used to sell at this event all the time with my friend. had been doing it since around 2011. I sold parts of my personal collection and any other interesting bits I found. And as a Gamer myself Always used to be on point with what people where looking for. However the constant price rises eventually pushed us away from selling there. Looks like most of the stalls there now are either the bigger companies or people selling the cheap Chinese stuff AKA Pop Vinyls. It was very different in the early days.
Great to hear your thoughts and views. I was gutted there was more stalls. But for MCM I bet they ain’t really concerned given that they sell out of tickets which is a shame.
Very nice video and you made some awesome pickups, 1 guy I overheard in my local Collectors cave shop said he was going to mcm comic con.. I was in London yesterday and picked up some bits from forbidden planet (thanks for the recommendation for it) and stopped at the nearby wetherspoons and then hamleys a little walk away.
Cheers mate! I went FP last week it was crazy busy because of half term. I got a quite bits and pieces and will go again this Wednesday to do a video as it should be quieter
Thanks for sharing this fantastic video tour of the MCM Comic Con, Scott. Loved your pick ups, especially the Creepshow action figure and the Marvel Comics. Especially the copies of The Savage She-Hulk. By the way Scott, have you heard that Marvel are relaunching the She-Hulk, in a new comic book series, where she is back to the way she was portrayed by John Byrne, in The Sensational She-Hulk comic book?! :)
Cheers!! I am trying to complete the savage she hulk set. I actually love the old man comic book series at the moment. I may take a look at the new she hulk.
Awesome video mate! I must of skipped past the Comicana stall, was introduced to them a few weeks ago and they helped me complete my 90s Morbius run via one of the FB groups. Nearly went to this but Sat had sold out and Sunday had rail engineering work going on south coast so sacked it off. Debating to do Showmasters at Olympia next month but def going to the next London Comic Mart in December!
Cheers mate! I am going comic mart in December too. I can’t believe it’s the first one I will be going to this year!! Which is crazy for me. I also can’t believe the price rise of comics.
@@ScottsRetroCollectables Yeh I think a lot of people either got back into them or discovered Comics for first time coz of Covid. Especially Marvel it seems due to films being delayed. I've not been to London comic mart b4, but hoping coz it's just Comics it won't be silly prices. 🤞The big cons inflate everything!
@@MoonclanMike I last went early 2020 before lockdown. Now comics are much better prices and I have picked up a hell of lot keys and decent comics for fair prices. Now the mart is 70% comics, 10% DVD sellers and 20% pops. You get the odd stall of trading cards and sometimes movie posters the same people that supply prop house with movie posters for auction….. I brought lots of original movie posters as they were super cheap. I do love the mart it’s the thrill of the hunt
@@ScottsRetroCollectables Awesome I'm looking forward to it, fingers crossed there's no engineering work that Sunday! 🤞Was gonna pay the £5 for early doors, my car boot head makes me think it's probably worth it. 😉
Scott, something you might be interested in,it might be a bit of a trot for you,A new bootsale every Sunday from now until may 2022,at Colchester park and ride, opposite the football ground. If you want a pre-view of it,checkout the youtuber B'LUCK CAR BOOT HUNT.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting to see what it was like. The stalls seem much more spread out with bigger walkways between than usual.
Definitely spread out more, felt a lot less stalls than previous years too. But tickets still looked to have sold out
