I lived in Tokyo for 3 years and bought many bags from the consignment stores. Qoo vintage in ometesando is a really cute place to visit and get some nice IG pics there, so is amore which is all floor to ceiling vintage Chanel also not too far to walk from Qoo. Japanese people have very small wardrobes and they really look after their items. When they want to get something new they usually trade in/consign the older bag as most apartments are really small in Japan and they don’t have massive amounts of items. I loved my time in Japan and would visit many of the consignment stores at the weekends. The ones I recommend that also have online websites/eBay are the 2 mentioned above then also komeyo, brand off, ginzo, gallery rare. I’ve personally bought from all of these. Also if visiting Japan donki stores have a floor assigned to new and pre-loved designer goodies too. 😃

wow that is amazing for a 30 year old bag. This is medium isn't it? It looks a bit bigger than mine. I have a 27 year old pink vintage Chanel bag. I love the 24 carartgold plated hardware too and it does pop on white. Congratulations:)
Congrats it’s a beautiful vintage white Chanel! One thing though, do you know if the hardware was replated it and the bag redyed ? A big part of the Asian consignment stores that sell vintage bags specially in white usually are. Don’t get me wrong, personally I don’t find anything wrong with that, as long as the bag it’s authentic which I can see it is, I was just curious if they specifically told you anything about it. Hi! Great question - as far as my knowledge goes, the bag is in its original color and condition. Because I already have a vintage bag that has been refreshed, I know what to look for in terms of looks and feel, and this bag 100% isn’t that. But even if it were, I wouldn’t mind bc it’s such a beautiful bag and I don’t have any plans of reselling ❤️
