I dont really know what to respond to such an idiotic comment. Do you know how sex is determined at the time of birth?. If she is indeed a man, wouldnt she be raised a boy by their parents. When there are numerous photos of her clearly being raised as a girl, i dont know how people imagine her being a boy. Nobody even the person themselves will know whether they are a transgender till they hit puberty. So if she is a transgender, dont you think the hospital nurse who birthed her would have clearly assigned gender as a boy and her parents would have raised her up as a boy? And actually speaking, in this 21 st century only retards will think of respecting a person based on their gender. Whatever she is, she is great, she has poise and dignity and she articulates clearly. As for me, that is enough for me to respect a human being.

I watched her expertly deliver this speech in 2008, and after reading her book Becoming, I came here again to hear her speech again. She is so moving and heartfelt as her speaks. No silver spoon; no famous parents; no popularity; just hard working people who worked all the way to the top. Envied and hated, but served with dignity and class.

I come here as a mom whose girls are the heart of my heart and the center of my world - they're the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning, and the last thing I think about when I go to bed at night. Their future - and all our children's future - is my stake in this election.
And I come here as a daughter - raised on the South Side of Chicago by a father who was a blue-collar city worker and a mother who stayed at home with my brother and me. My mother's love has always been a sustaining force for our family, and one of my greatest joys is seeing her integrity, her compassion and her intelligence reflected in my own daughters.
My dad was our rock. Although he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in his early 30s, he was our provider, our champion, our hero. As he got sicker, it got harder for him to walk, it took him longer to get dressed in the morning. But if he was in pain, he never let on. He never stopped smiling and laughing - even while struggling to button his shirt, even while using two canes to get himself across the room to give my mom a kiss. He just woke up a little earlier and worked a little harder.

It is a complete shame that the United States went from electing Barack Obama for two terms and having his wife as first lady to what now occupies the white house.

Becoming is a great book and if you havent read it you are missing a lot. although i find it odd that there was no record of scandals or controversies or compromise throughout their life.
