Of all the annoying superfluous music you hear for every stupid how-to video on youtube, I must say that this particular music was retro fun and really great!
Don't most theatre chains at least the big ones get everything delivered by encrypted satellite link today or the internet? If it is done by satellite, how do they handle the bandwidth needed?
Digital Cinema for the last 8 years comes at 2K resolution and lossless compression. Bitrates are massive. Most BDs can't store and read DCP formatted content due to bitrate alone.
Lewis Johnson Yeah, if you’re playing on a massive screen, it would make sense to have the most uncompressed cut of the movie. You get a better quality image overall. Edit: I also failed to mention that like the video showed, you may be ingesting multiple movies at once, so that 1TB limit seems more appropriate.
digital projection tutorial...at 240p *smh*
IT GAVE IT THAT OLD FASHION EFFECT
Having DCPs on hard drives does lower the waste produced by "single play DVDs" that they used to come on

Thank you! What type of stereoscopic 3D video is used for viewing in the cinema? I think it's not anaglyph.

What witchcraft did you use to do that thing with the link?
So the video did not provide any training at all.
Please refer to your server-specific manual for setup instructions.
Interface seems written in java.
probably is
Penguin Meister Java is in far more places than you think. (Vending machines, parking meters, etc.)
Now we get content via satellite. What's next?
Lol at usb drive .
USB 2.0 .....
Digital projection sucks I want 35 mm film back. Basically you are watching a DVD on a gigantic screen!
If that’s what you believe then you’re wildly uninformed.

the bitrate of a 4K disc can peak at 140 while a dip goes up to 250. The bitrate of a DVD only goes to 10
Whoa... 750GB - 1TB!?
