SCV Mt Hotham 1927

This video shows a Ski Club of Victoria trip to Mt Hotham at the very end of the 1927 season from 29th October to 1st November. The trip included the newly arrived Helmut Kofler (he landed in Melbourne on 20 September) who managed the Hotham Heights Chalet in 1928 before moving to the Mt Buller Chalet in 1929.
This collection of videos is from the Ski Club of Victoria which was formed in Melbourne in 1924. The videos are timecode stamped so viewers or researchers can identify the parts of any video they may wish to request access to.
The original camera stock or film prints have been scanned in HD, graded, had noise and grain reduction added and digitally restored for long term preservation in NAMA’s library.

Great stuff. Almost got a blurred glimpse of the 2 year old Hotham Heights, but alas not quite.
